There was a moment in high school when I realized how corrupt, demonic, counterproductive, violent, hypocritical, and toxic hip-hop AND "black culture" had become...I have left it and never plan to return. We ALL need Jesus Christ. God bless us and have mercy on us all.

****Threw out ALL of my music in 2008....**** ....once I found out how demonic the industry was. Tossed about 200 CDs, and the CD stands, and never looked back. The imitation Jew (not an Israelite but a descendant from HAM - Noah's fallen seed) has not only the music industry under it's thumb but just about EVERYTHING mundane that degrades MANKIND's progress. I found the true meaning and purpose of life, as well about the soul, and like I said before.....I NEVER LOOKED BACK. So much is clear and now I can enjoy seeing how their world has, and will continue, to collapse and feed on itself - while it takes it's familiars (like-minded thinkers) with it. Follow NO ONE, my people. Detach from all externals - they are not of you. The church is just as lost, as modern academia, with it's partly recognizable scriptures. Bless The FATHER.

Remember in the 1950s the prevailing and popular genre of music at the time was rock and roll, and many people, specifically Christians thought of it a degenerate form of music also, calling it Satan's music. As for the claim that blacks were more intelligent in that time period is a bit of a stretch. Because all throughout time and in every generation, there have always been complete morons irrespective of the time period they grew up in and the surrounding culture. I would say that as a black man myself, The Civil "Rights" Movement wasn't exactly a shining example of "Intelligence" from black leaders and participants in that nonsense and their proudest moment IMO.

Been told I talk white cause I dont use M-fer and ebonics in my speech. I had to use ebonics around certain types of black folks just to avoid being targeted. Tragic! My gut feeling is Marxists promoted this culture to create chaos, fear, a sense of hopelessness, population elimation. In 1984 and '85 a KGB defector who knew of U.S. take-over plans had already quickly progressed. Americans who helped them succeed (professors, dishonest news reporters, corrupt politicians/law-makers, celebrities) will be sorely surprised to find out they will not be in power, as they thought. Instead, they will be the first eliminated. They know too much. You can find his interview on you tube. He said the only way to turn this around is to put honest people in gov't and colleges, and spend 15-20 years teaching students to be patriots with integrity. He said those already thoroughly demoralized, brainwashed, can never be changed, even with authentic evidence of truth, until they are shocked to learn those who promised them a better world lied to them. Then they join ranks of dissents. We all must come together, but. May be too late. I believe several Republicans are honest and fighting for Americans, but they are discredited, suppressed, and called crazy by left-wing media. They're up against a force so evil and powerful.

Me and my family are political refugees in Sweden. We came here 1997 from Iraq. We are kurds. When we came here, we learned about the slavery in the US and other European countries, but especially about the US. We got to know many great and inspirational characters and leaders. To mention a few, Rosa Parks, Malcom, and Martin LK. We really had to memorize their stories by heart. NOT ONLY because we had to follow the rules of the school plans, but because these stories had a great impact on human life, especially the heart and mind. They fought for you. They died for you. They got buried and burnt alive for you, and today, you call you women beeches and call each other noggers. Roaming freely, killing each other because you live in a different area. My mind is boggling. How did it take a turn like this? From great characters and leaders to becoming the lowest of the low. The people before may have had literal chains around them, but they were free and still had self control and self love. Today they are free but self destructive. 🤔

It is by design and created by the US government to suppress Black Americans. Even though MLK and others fought for civil rights, there were other making plans against it. After the civil right act of 1964 passed, the incarceration rate of Black men shot up to break up the Black family social structure. A war on Black men. It is about destroying the mind. The music is controlled by White men. There are many clean Black artists and history will tell you this. But this is not what the men with the money wanted to promote. They wanted to promote negative aspects of Black Americans, so entertainers had to comply to get paid. Always remember, it is those with the money that shape society. This is a universal truth because money translates to control.

I'm a white dude who grew up in poverty, in a heavy black and hispanic neighborhood (Brockton, MA) during the 90s and early 2000's. It was so poor the streets weren't even paved, they were gravel. One of the core problems of his ghetto/hood/black culture, and I was deep into, is the fact that its constant "hype." Hindsight, I loved the liveliness to it all, the constant parties, the bonding (most addictive part), and the constant change made it all addicting. It reminds me of the saying "its great until its not." Up until I was 15 years old I thrived in that ghetto life until my parents forced me out to move in with my grandmother, who was out of state, because they saw the path I was heading down. I talked like an idiot and cursed 24/7 -- still embarrassed how I behaved to this day. Before I left I had been in countless fights, I was stabbed twice, and seen so many adults disappear because they ended up in jail. After I moved, I brought dogmatic beliefs and had a heavy victim complex disorder that carried into my late 20's, currently 39. I blamed everyone and everything. I convinced myself nonsensical things were my obstacles in life, but I just never tried because that was normal in my bubble/experience. When I was 29 a half black half Indian dude named Ibrahim talked some sense into me and I changed my life around the following day. I enrolled to community college, received my associates, stopped talking like a fool, got a good job, and never looked back. I have been working my butt off since 2016. The craziness to it all is I still reminisce of those days when I was a teenager because there were so many people around compared to today. Again, the bonding made it feel special and I know that some people can't let it go/escape it all, because you feel like you are part of something grandeur. It is special, but not for any good reason, like the matrix. There is obviously a lot more to my life story, but the above are the quick notes.

I appreciate you speaking about this. The crazy thing is you don’t even sound like a white person you just sound like an educated person. It’s almost as if in order to be black enough you have to be completely illiterate. I truly do pray for our community because the culture has been sick for a very long time. I remember being younger and watching my mom listen to hip-hop music that was completely degrading her and her daughters. And, ironically all of the men that she would attract into her life were very misogynistic and degenerate. I truly believe that music has a subconscious effect on us that people may not understand and even if you look up the definition of entertainment you will realize that the music is the way it is for a reason. I am so blessed to see people like you and so many others that are really waking up to the reality of the spills that have been put on us for so long. Especially our black men, it’s just really sad to see black men killing each other being something that is praised. I have fallen for it as well I used to love artists like NBA YoungBoy and NLE Choppa. But, after really getting closer to God I realize that I have been programming my mind to be a degenerate person.

I disagree as a blanket statement. I am a 55 yo white dude. I have been listening to Hip Hop since the 70's. I prefer the sounds and always have. I do not like country or twangy music. Sugarhill was one of the first groups I heard and loved it. Don't get me wrong on the evolution of hip hop and rap and I do not condone any of the crap lyrics when talking about killing folks or that women are hoes. I respect women and would never disrespect like that but I still like the flow and the beat. I will say that I have moved away from only listening to rap with dubstep and trap, I can still get that bass beat while not hearing about how many people you kill or women you sex up. That works for me, just wanted to say not neccesarily a red flag. Ice Cube/NWA/N2Deep fought the white man in the courts and won the right for the younger gens to rap about whatever. But this music is deep rooted in our history and the oppression of young black kids. What did we expect was gonna happen?

Im a white woman but i have love for black people and it hurts to see what it is happening to their culture. I have reached the point of just feeling disgust with most rap. The last few times i went to the park to play basketball people were playing rap on their speakers and i thought damn...i cant even play basketball with out having to listen to this psychological warfare. It really is an upside down world, praising whats negative as good, and saying anything good is corny or means the black people is trying to be white... i mean it throws me that all of this has become so intertwined with black culture that if you say you dislike rap music some people will accuse you of being racist and anti black. I could argue that a lot of rap music is anti black. You know there are still plently of talented black people out there who can sing and write thoughtful lyrics so you have to question why you dont see those people that much in mainstream culture... i hope that more black people can wake up

She posed a great question, the issue is she thinks it's all from the blacks that those thoughtful writers are not being platformed in a mainstream way; its not. its all about greedy sociopathic entertainment execs wanting (out of sheer convenience to make money off their rich culture) to further the narrative that blacks aren't waking up. Those execs boxed themselves into a corner where for the love of the almighty dollar they groomed an entire generation of black and white youths alike (the 90's) to think that the only things connected to black culture worth spending money on were these messed up urban freak shows. Black kids think they have to make the grimoires to be cool for white execs who then sell that false image of black culture to white teens who buy it in rebellion to mainstream programming (which they heard was bad but they just don't know in what way; so surely the rappers will tell me) Turns out when by buying that album the white teen is doing exactly what the system wants. The system knows eventually he'll realize which values are wrong and see whos promoting what but by that time the news, mainstream rap music, hollywood, bad exp. with black ppl in society etc will have reinforced the real lesson which is: Black is Bad (So engage with these people at your own risk) Who ever speaks out and gets in the way of the money = anti-semite - racist - anti-black. Meanwhile go to school and stop killing each other is the most pro-black thing any white guy could say, it just comes off as disingenuous because as both executives and consumers we're complicit in too. Case in point, Yes* more blacks* definitely need to wake up and take control of how their culture is represented instead of letting the media always just push them around.

I speak in academic English- not AAVE and black people cant stand me for it. Just subscribed. Just medically retired from the army at 24. I went through this same shit even in boot camp from other black people and drill sgts. It annoys the shit out of me that are people have romanticized struggling so much that you cant be "black" without it. I've traveled to Italy, Belize,and Canada. I remember telling niggas i grew up with to travel. Expand there knowledge of the world and these niggas told me i was on white people shit. This is years removed from high-school. I understand there's racism out there, but i chose to not let that fact scare me. When we learned about slavery and civil rights, I wasn't sad about it. I was proud. I've always had that thought that my ancestors made it through the absolute worst times for me to flourish. I feel whining about it is spitting in the face of my ancestors sacrifice. I wish other blacks could see it that way too

I completely understand. I’m in the military too and because I’ve learned so much from traveling, I encourage them to do the same and their response is the same as the people you described. To whine and keep reaching your hand out after society has made everything abundantly clear is what I feel like is a disgrace to what they fought and died to accomplish. Get up and move around because we’re free. Be better than whatever this “black” culture is nowadays.

As a Puerto Rican man from NYC that grew up in the 80’s I used to love any and everything related to hip hop culture. Being from the city and the generation that invented it all, I loved how it went outside of NY and the world followed. Now? I don’t want to have anything to do with it and I consciously make an effort to be far away from it. This generation in particular took something that was organically created by people, from nothing, to the embarrassing garbage it is today. But they destroyed just about everything to be honest….social media just totally sped up the process. It’s sad, really. To see how they destroyed something they didn’t create, that we loved. RIP🙏hip hop culture…the code….unwritten rules…….all dead.

@Hilaire_Balrog 3 месяца назад
It was the corporations took what was, as you stated, organic and powerful and polluted it in pursuit of money. The people consented to it but it was the corporate record labels that steered hip-hop into what is is today. We had people like KRS-One and Chuck D or a Rakim, who spoke on powerful subjects and opened our eyes to things. That is sadly all dead now as far as mainstream rap/hip-hop.

I love the tempo of hiphop, but the lyrics are dangerous and destroying brains and futures of millions of blacks. (I'm a black living in France. Our hiphop just copy US hiphop. indirectly, Black american culture participating in destroying other blacks around the world because we see them as the only succesful ones with big cars and gold chains and we want to copy them. Not that africans are perfect (far from it, we also have to do a complete mental reeducation) but adding the black american culture is the nail in the coffin. We are destroyign each other and destroying other people stuff... The real problem for all blacks around the world is not money or racism, it's changing mentality and hiphop. Music is powerful, and we are masters of the darkside of the music! You can erase white people on earth and we will still be ghetto and third world living BECAUSE MOST OF YOUNG BLACKS DOESNT WANNA CHANGE MENTALITY AND LIVE IN A DECENT SOCIETY. Hi, I just want to say that you are speaking the truth about the hip hop culture, preferably the black hip hop culture. It's very sad to say that the black hip hop , especially the ones who rap about violence and rapping about the N word in their music, proves that , apart from still being under the influence of mental slavery, they are messed up thinking that their music is positive. There's so many artists who sing positive, clean music and still get positive recognition. They don't have to be like that. They need to change the way they think and promote positive music, especially for young artists who want a positive role model to look up to. Please continue speaking and spreading the word on this topic. May God bless you.
