Nintendo's decision to make no voice chat in this game was such a good call. This was terrible experience to watch. I dread of imagining voice chat in other games as well such as Mario Kart 8 or Smash. The quick few seconds of lobby chatting is more than enough. It's cute, fast and fun.

One time I saw a few people squid partying I was the only one to help our team.

This seems like a perfect strategy during turf war. I played with someone once who'd purposefully hop to the enemy base and play there while enemy team was away and at first I didn't understand until we started to lose turf, but as a last ditch effort I jumped to them and inked as much as I could. We won that match because of that silly, but smart player.

Turf war = yes and there’s friendly squids Ranked = OH HELL NO THEY LURE YOU INTO THEIR TRAP AND THEN BETRAY YOU AT THE LAST SECOND

The point of a video game is to have fun... if their having fun, let them do whatever they want if it's not at anyone's expense. Even your group sounded like they were having fun. Besides, they'll be the ones losing anyway if you decide not to play along. [shrug] Certain things just aren't worth getting upset about... like Splatoon squid parties. Ikr I hate it when that happens! Another thing that's annoys me when squid partying is when you actually want to play serious and is practicing a weapon but then people on the opposing team want to squid party with you. I'm a doormat so I always say yes to those people because I feel bad for killing them. Its like them trying to convince me to squid party with them with puppy eyes and stuff and they always able to convince me...

The only time it's ok to party during ranked is if 3 people on your team disconnect. Also they know not to SquidParty in ranked. (It's their strat guys)

When it's comes to WUT (Woomy united today) we don't squid party in ranked. But we never knew if they were in WUT, so it's probably fine. But honestly, who wouldn't squid party? Even once? I have faith in you to at least try. Ya don't hafta do it, but if you wanna you can try a squid party. The only stickler is that you can get splatted by others who don't party. Just a suggestion, it's my opinion, a squid party should never be forced upon any woomy, so I won't call for that either. Keep up the great vids! :D
