Just take the deck out and put it in the dumpster. How hard can it be? Well it is Monday so of course it's going to be a problem. Enjoy, because I sure didn't.
@@luiscruz2571 you sound dumb brother , he does what bugs does? he lays the stamps and eric and cisco don’t that obviously tells you who has more experience & u don’t know how the trades work buddy
Ryan, I had my own home improvement business for 30 years. I had a guy named Ralph who I had known since I was 5 working for me and he was super talented but would get the same treatment as you get from Daryl. There comes a time when you have to pull the bandaid off once and for all. When I did I was just fine and had room to hire serious men who wanted to work. I would call him the hide-and-go-seek champion of the world because he would disappear and no one could find him. He is a drain on your psyche. PS he only does this to you because he can with no repercussions. Time to move on.
very well put sometimes it hard to say good buy .will not say anything more.. if i did about sr,and jr will get the hate mail witch i do not fully read and i block persons at my end.or will get banned with that said very cool commit truth very powerful words....
Darryl is a good worker he just needs a bit of support but overall he's a very reliable fella in driving the mack and bobcat by saying good on Ryan for keeping him in check but I enjoy watching this videos when Darryl is in it makes my day go faster
It's always nice to see your daughter's with you. They are always smiling and happy. Along with Eric , They make the videos more enjoyable. Gotta love happy people. Thanks for the great content.
You need a RELIABLE CDL driver/laborer. Right in your heart Daryl... Don't end the friendship, end the employer/employee relationship. It's costing you deeply.
Always enjoy the videos...they are such a blessing...I am a GC and have demoed a lot of old decks similar to this and the best way i have found is cut it up with a chain saw (with some old saw chains) in sections about the width of the dumpster then you could have loaded them with the machine and not had all that 'hurricane debris" to pick up and it would have been more efficient. It's a clean, easy (money) way to do it...just thought it might be worth a try for next time. Keep letting your light shine Ryan!
ryan i am from TN and i always been interested in concrete but have never done it before . i came across your videos months ago and have been watching you and the guys you and them are awesome even daryl the destroyer lol eric is something else to i work with alot of spanish people and there always humble and smiling but watching your mom pull up a few times and take care of you guys was so nice i just lost my mom two weeks ago and she was my best friend but watching your videos makes my day a little better man i wanna say thank you for the videos and tell the guys thank you also for the fun content and hard work thanks man
Hey Ryan I love the videos brother. I'm a general contractor in southern California. MUNOZ COMPLETE CONSTRUCTION. Just a tip on deck demo. I found that a chain saw is the fastest. Rip the whole deck in like 5 or 6 foot squares and then come in with the Bob cat
In just a year you’ve managed to hit almost 200k subs! Great content with a great group of guys! Keep up the good work Ryan and the crew, this channel I watch almost every video without skipping and If I miss an upload, I go back and watch it before I go to bed. Bless you for being a great person and an awesome boss! Much love from the island of Guam!🇬🇺
Going into the building industry shortly and it's fair to say your an absolute inspiration, your leadership skills are top of the line which makes everything much better. Much love come Shropshire United Kingdom
Please don’t take this the wrong way, but your daughters are such a great addition to your team. The filming, editing and showing up everyday. Huge kudos to them! Beautiful girls as well! You’ve done good Mr. Ryan!
I’m new here. Saw Erik’s first video yesterday, and the worker he’s turned into, Ryan could’ve had a whole lot worse help, like the video clip I saw on Facebook of him firing that guy
Keep up the awesome work Ryan! I am making that eassyyyy money finallyyy. Got on a small concrete crew and I couldn't be happier. I've wanted to work concrete for a long time now. And it feels like my dream is coming true finally.
Hey Ryan, I Love your channel. I've left only a few comments in the past. I find it so amazing you get to bring your girls to work with you to help with the channel, but I can only imagine them being around makes every day just better. Thanks for being one of my favorite content creators. GamerParentDan - From Canada :)
One thing for the editors that I've noticed a couple of times now on a couple of videos. Is when you go into a short destruction sequence like the part under the overhang on the far right. One clip will show you almost against the wall with all the wood broken up and then the next clip shows you 5 ft over by the 2nd post and the deck is back in one piece.. Its a small detail but sometimes they matter..Enjoy the vids alot and keep up thr amazing work!! Big fan from Winnipeg, Canada
When it rains it pours man, no amount of coffee can make that day better. You guys did great powering through it though gotta have the bad days to appreciate the good ones
Hi Ryan, I am Rav from Australia. I am hooked on your videos since last week. Love your everyone in your Crew especially Darryl Jr. Cant wait for Bugs to come back.
@@woolfy02 oh yeah I know that, but the ones who are willing to teach are legendary, bugs isn’t toxic either, very approachable for a man of his knowledge
You are so patient with your crew, I know I would of had the rest of the deck demoed by the time you got back. With a circular saw and a spud bar, that easy money!
I don’t usually watch 29-40min video on utube until I came across your videos yesterday Sir . Love your content and I just subscribe and I literally watch more then 20+ videos already .
You are right in my backyard sir. That kwik trip and mobil are at times life savers for morning, lunch and those horrible WI humid hot and horribly cold days. Plowing, pouring or landscaping. Living in WI is just going to kwik trip 3 times a day. I may have to drop a line and hop on the crew. Have a bit of experience as well. Well done and I appreciate the kind of "boss man" you are. Daryl rocks!! Hope everyone is good and the last few really HOT days no one dropped from the heat. Cheers guys
that deck was awesome. I dont know who thought about making it like that but it looked pretty cool. I bet it would look even better putting some more life into that poor old wood. you could tell its been awhile since it gotten any love.
When I demo a wooden deck, I use a circular saw and cut the whole deck into 4ftx4ft squares. Then I can easily grab all of the pieces with the skid steer thumb and neatly stack them into the dumpster. It sounds more time consuming but it’s truthfully a lot faster!
I really like your new guy. He is really nice and seems to be a good worker with a good attitude. He should go well with your crew and have a great chance to stay with your guys for some time. Tell him I said "Good Job" and keep the ball rolling!
I respect your Godly patience. I hope your guys realize they are blessed to work for you. The real work world ain't like your work world. God Bless Jeremiah 29:11
Why are these videos so addicting, i don't kno'w anything about concrete but once I stumbled upon your channel, I cannot stop watching, keep up the great work!!
Watching this at 5:35am before work. I love these videos enough to watch you work before I go to do my job. Thanks for the videos. Keep up the good work.
Good job, Ryan. You love concrete. I love demolition, specially those kind if decks. You mention that it took about 50 yards of debris between your truck and the dumpster. Did you happen to measure the deck for next time. This way you will figure a couple of 20 yard dumpsters, will hold the debris. This inf. would help the newbies as well. But I love that you have your kids helping you. Hopefully you have them on your payroll, so you can lower your taxes at the end of the year. Just a thought. Blessings to you and your love ones.
Love your content and video's you have a great crew with exception of one, I think you know who I am talking about. Some people take advantage of good Bosses, you are a kind man and a great family man.
From what Ryan said sounds like he’s going thru a lot at the moment I just want to say God bless you brother hope everything gets better in your personal Life ❤️
Coffee, bagel and VICTORY STYLE video. Great way to start the morning! BTW, it's obvious that you're losing weight Ryan, keep it up man! Also ... noticed the burnout marks on your driveway at the beginning of the video, LOL!!
My eyes lit up when ryan says he was watching formula drift. Super cool that would be your interest Ryan. Hope you and the crew are staying cool in this heat wave!!
That's how I found out about this channel and Ryan's concrete business , from a comment in an AdamLZ / DriftHQ video. Didn't even know about Victory Outdoor Services even though they work in my backyard and I had been a tile and stone installer for a long time
Another great video Ryan! Been watching your videos from almost the start of the channel. Can't wait for Buggs to come back! I just wish Daryl could show up every day.
my quotes say they are only good for 30 days after the date written and I reserve the right to adjust the pricing for the rise in material/fuel prices. this had saved me for things I bid last year that I would hardly break even on today.
Home Depot on their app should come out with a way to add products to a project then the prices could auto update, and have an option to share that project with the client.
I've had 5-6(+) times (3 mo - yr) in the last 40+ years that lumber yards wouldn't give more than 7-10 days on a bid... Early on I added a material clause to my contracts. Ya gotta CYA (Cover Your Assets), or you'll be working for free & living outta a tent... Thanx for the content !
I would write Darryl a contract that when he doesn't show he has to pay you his wages and save the money to cover everything he breaks while working. Haha
It blows my mind how there are ppl out there that No call no show and then come into work the next day like nothing happened. He wouldn’t have a job with me that’s for sure, I don’t put up with that bs lol
You Sir, are going to make me a better business owner. For that, I thank you, Ryan! May our FATHER in heaven continue to bless you with a charming and ever pleasant personality!
Your mom reminds me of my mom she was the best. You are so blessed that you still have your mother. I lost my mom 2 years ago of cancer. Don't ever anybody take advantage of your mother while she's still alive. Remember people you only have one mom. Cherish her everyday.
Ahahahahah the look on Eric’s face. This is big Ryan ! Lol he’s like man this is a lot of wood Ryan I’m a concrete man not a wood man I’m Ganna have to go home lol 😂
I would have done the removal by hand with a chainsaw, cutting the deck into pieces that fit right into the dumpster. Less mess to pick up and probably faster results. Although using skid steer is more fun. Have you ever thought about creating a second crew for your company and expand? Easy money doubled. Oh wait, Darryl the destroyer is unique and one can't just clone him. Great work!
when you got back and there was still all those scraps left that really hit home. I hated being a foreman - having to leave and come back to find the guys all sitting around and hardly anything done.
