My neighbor gave me some stuff (free) because she knows I sell a little on eBay. There was an old Jansport backpack that had "Made in the USA" on the label. I had no idea some of these were worth so much. She refuses to take any money. Got just under $100 for it.
You're the SUPERMAN of Picking Wick. 40 sales in a day! It's been between 104° to 113° here for at least a month however there is a huge advantage to desert life since we have sales year round. Toss in living surrounded by retirement community's and you have the added bonus of estate sales that are more than plentiful weekly. Great haul and thank you for the education. Blessings, K.T.
I just want to say how much I love the way you do your videos. I watch/play your videos while I get ready, I don't have to constantly have my eye on the video to see what's going on cause you describe everything while your searching. Love it thank you!
you're lucky to have good garage sales! I went to three yesterday and got literally nothing. Most sales here are just a few tables with a pile of junk on them!
Glove with name at the 14:56 mark may be able to be cleaned if you use a "Dry Erase Marker" & go over the area & wipe it immediately.. Sometimes the Dry Erase will take off Permanent Marker.. Worth a try.. ~ ~ Great Sourcing. Love watching your videos because you Explain things!!
Bolo: logitech universal remotes. Sold 3 or 4 over the last 6 months used for around 50$. Found a sealed one at goodwill this weekend for 4.99 and sold on ebay in less than hour for 160$
That free box score reminded me of one i missed out on. There was a box full of patterns and stuff and i was going to just grab it and go through it later. Someone i know stopped and started talking to me and i completely forgot to grab the box when i left...
I found one of those Canon WP-1 cameras in a free box last year. Put new batteries in it and I took a best offer for $120 in 1 day on EBay. My best and easiest find so far.
Insane haul, here in louisville the yard sales started off great this summer, but as the summer winds down i find myself running into more and more sales that i suspect are resellers liquidating there death piles, are getting out of the business, etc. I find that i am having to pay up a lot more for quality stuff as well. Which i will do if i know it will sell quick and i can at least double.
I got a lot of Goosebumps books at a yard sale. They were in fair condition. I sold them on eBay as a lot for a nice profit and quickly. I just advertised them as great for summer reading. I got a message from the purchaser saying they were perfect for rough use at the beach and camping.
There are some older creative labs sound blaster PC speakers that have good value.. some collaboration speakers with Texas Instruments if I'm not mistaken. I saw another somewhat more wealthy picker on youtube find a pair in an abandoned locker then in a later video sell them for $10 or something at the flea market and thinking nothing of it. Made me cringe.
I actually just picked up a Sound blaster ROAR Bluetooth speaker for a $1. I'm testing it while I list and it sounds incredible. I might end up keeping, but sells for $75+
The little washing machine? Yeah, it works ok. Can only put one large pair or a couple smaller pairs in at a time or they don't wash the greatest, but still better than doing it by hand and not adding wear to the home washing machine.
What % do you run on ads? Seems like ever since ebay implemented their new pay to play scheme I get almost no sales.. I looked at order detail over the last few years and my margins have collapsed just with shipping and goodwill price increases.
