I feel like if Nayeon should get more when they're having a group activity they could have Compensates for the other members by giving them solo activities but no they don't let them shine in the group nor give them an opportunity outside twice :/ Nayeon is an ace but it's understandable why fans end up being unsatisfied when we barely get to see anything about the other members.

All of them deserve more. If you look into most of their songs, a good amount or maybe even 100% of it is dominated by Nayeon alone. They make song rap parts 10 seconds out of the whole 3-4 minute songs. And with Jeongyeon, depending on what you’re talking about, still gets more lines than Sana, Momo, Tzuyu, Mina(sometimes), Chaeyoung, and Dahyun.

The title track is where everyone will get the introduction of twice and sometimes their only knowledge of them. All of the big producers are not working on the b tracks. Those are reserved for the girls to make their own stuff or for lesser known big producers to make music. The title is produced and lines are distributed by someone else and they assign it to the girls. People are using data that's not even relevant as their examples.

She is my bias! 2nd of all, she doesn’t want to go solo because she and the group decided that they like each other and want to stay together as long as possible so no one is allowed to do their own thing in the risk of breaking up the group. 3rd, she is the most loyal/loving of the Once’s. She personally speaks all the time about how we are the ones that keep her grounded and why she loves us so much. Don’t talk about deserving. She stays in the group because she wants to. She’s not the one asking for the lines and I’m not targeting her. No one should be targeting the twice members for anything. It is not their doing. The producers/songwriters makes all the decisions when it comes to the line distributions. The main focus is that it should be more fair/even. I personally am avid of both sides; that it should be more equal because they have so much talent, but also that it could stay the same because it’s working. I don’t know how if depth you’re looking at line distribution but look at the past few songs’ on RU-vid about it. Half of the group gets below 15% maybe while Nayeon gets more than 25%. That’s 1/4 of the song for 1/9 of the members.

I think fans often confused centre & visual roles. The centre is the person who best fits the concept of the whole group. Sometimes it’s not the visual as Tzuyu is pretty, but has more of a mature look. As Naeyeon has more of a vibrant & energetic, youthful look.

But with Twice, only 3% of the song is hard, so it's pointless to get a good singer to sing the majority, when the average singer can do it just as well, but with a more recognisable bright tone that fans prefer. Its because as the most powerful voice you want to save her for the part of the song with the most energy. Its basic song structure you want the energy to go from low to high from the intro to the chorus, starting with Jihyo is just a blast of power from the start compared to the other voices

@@cherrysjinz Actually she'd still get a lot. She got the opening, the first, second and last chorus, and "I can't stop me, can't stop me." While Jihyo got two choruses, and a small part in the second verse of the song.

It's ok if she starts or overs a song...but giving her the entire song isn't fair....I'm not a once but I have seen some clips of their concert..... jeongyeon voice attracted me alot...I had Goosebumps hearing her high note........jihyo she is the main vocal.....if the entire song is for nayeon then jyp can change positions ofc...........everybody needs to show their own talent In their on feild.....for singing jihyo and jeongyeon needs more line...I don't mean to give them entire song but more than 'i can't stop me' line distribution'.....lol

Well, a lot of groups are made up of different people with different skill sets to come together and make something good. Vocals, rappers, dancers, visuals.

@butter people keep saying it was the line distribution fault when the point of the video is the line distribution when in fact this video won't exist if Nayeon wasn't part of it because Nayeon always have more lines in the line distribution not we're dragging her down either. The video is more logic and realistically blunt and treating all the member equally.

I'm not a Nayeon hater, and also think that what you said is right, and I respect your opinion. But JYPE is not doing well in line distributions. I'm not saying Nayeon shouldn't get lines, just saying other members deserve attention as well.

@@progaming_2649 I understand what you’re saying but think about how many comebacks Twice has. They have released an UNHOLY AMOUNT OF MUSIC OVER THE YEARS! A few of the girls have had to step out at times because of how draining it is. And they have to give consistent performance through it all because their livelihoods depend on it. So the one with the best WORK ETHIC AND DRIVE is the one the floats to the top. Nayeon is the eldest and the most consistent with stage performance and overall image of the group in interviews photoshoots etc. She carries all of this on her shoulders pretty much. I think the reason is because she is honestly the one that draws people in the most a lot of times and she has a great work ethic. There’s nothing wrong with her getting the most lines if she handles them the best.

@@progaming_2649 in my opinion not all of them deserve to get a lot of lines. A majority of the group struggles to sing on certain parts that have been given to them which means they don't need that many more lines. Jeongyeon is the only one who would need more lines since she's a lead vocalist.

Bruh they don't even give the other members a chance. How'd you know how they would fair? Nayeon has been given chances and we've seen her capabilities but JYPE is not even giving the others a chance to show their capabilities.

A producer (BEP I think) once said Nayeon gets so many lines because her voice fits so good. If you want equal line distribution go listen to some kids music. Of course more lines for the others would be good but you can't always do that.

yes but also the b sides are produced differently, so I understand they may try to have a striking beginning or chorus + image for the song they are promoting which is expected to be an all kill, and do well in marketing - versus the b sides which are just good songs (I'm thinking Handle it, Up no more, Bring it Back, etc) - still I do agree they're missing out on how good it is when there's a better balance before showing off everyone and still keeping striking moments.... anyway.... lmao this got too long.-

@@blabible very true but it's obvious favoritism. One prime example was having to wait till the final chorus of Like Ooh ahh to hear Jeongyeon and her voice gets overshadowed by Jihyo's shouting. She could've easily did the second chorus instead yet their producer made her sing last to give more shine to Nayeon/Jihyo. That was wrong imo. I can't even think of any songs where you have to wait till the last chorus to hear a member. Usually by the bridge everyone has had a solo part.

I agree on this and one example is Blackpink. They choose the member that would suit best for a particular line or verse. They don't mind if they cannot fulfill the specific role that they were assigned to as long as the song comes out great. Some fans are just demanding.

If the fans doesnt like what the company is doing, i dont think it is what will do the albulm best

Some groups may have a say on what goes and what needs to be done but some solely rely to the producer itself and others maybe the company or management. TTS takes all the part in the distribution (and I’m okay with that) Yes Sooyoung and Hyoyeon are the rappers in the group but they have a little part in the distribution, like 10 seconds even less.
