So the best way to kill superman by that logic would be for lex to take him to a red sun planet and shoot a kryptonite bullet. Since his body would die a lot faster without any solar radiation to slow down the kyrptonin radiation.

Yes, kinda, but the "replace" part is a bit of a misconception. Kryptonite emit radiation that is specially harmful because Kryptonians cannot process it (due to particles, wavelength differences and whatnot if you want to be extra specific), and since they gobble up radiation when empowered/super it affect them more. Kryptonite radiation and Kryptonians stored energy disrupt one another, creating a biological imbalance that inhibits the absorption and processing of other high-energy radiations, and drive the energy out of his body in a painful fashion but it doesn't replace it. Unless you count the absurd incoherent storyline that break the initial worldbuilding where he his empowered by Kryptonite radiation. Only if you want to kill him slowly. The best way is to make them use almost all their energy reserve, deprive them of a sources of the proper radiation, and sature them with Kryptonite. Red sun don't drain them nor deprive them of their powers, they just slowly revert back to their original state as their energy is spent or forcibly expulsed. You can say that they subconsciously enter a eco mode that prevent them from going all out, any media that have them instantly weak under a red sun is bad writing. As you can see, I hate writing inconsistency.

Lex would be in for a surprise as superman easily dodge the bullet ,take out Lex and fly to the closest yellow,blue,or white star. It would take months for superman to exhaust his reserves with his normal activity . Inconsistent writers wrongfully write that superman automatically loses his powers when exposed to red solar radiation.

You might have your retons backward. Originally it was Tomar-Re. However, that was in Pre-Crisis Earth 1 continuity, so not sure if that changed. That being said, this is a this is a dumbass explanation for Kryptonite.

I think currently, it was Tomar-Re himself that had been assigned Krypton’s sector and failed to save the planet. He had planned to bring a substance that would temporarily prevent the planet’s core from exploding, which would have given the Kryptonians time to evacuate the doomed planet, but alas, he didn’t make it in time, and the rest is history. That’s also the reason why some Kryptonians like Zod have a distrust and hatred for the Green Lantern Corps, who failed to protect them.

Why is literally everything constantly getting retconned? It CANNOT be that difficult to have a story go from beginning to end without deliberate contradictions.

Ur on the right track but no, kryptonite was a regular kryptonian crystal, but after kryptons sun became a red star, the crystals absorbed the red solar radiation and became kryptonite. For the different types of kryptonite, my guess is that the other versions of kryptonite absorbed a different amount of red solar radiation
