Obi Wan was able to reflect multiple bullets with the force as seen in the 2003 clone wars series so it may work or not work at all, depending on who you're after.
@madhattermaker622 obi wan is understandable. That guy spent his entire life throughout the war and then some using an exclusively defensive form. If anyone could do that, it'd be obi
Yep, the flechette shotgun in arena mode on jedi outcast was the bane of lightsaber users. And if you fought NPC Lando, that's what he used. Very, very well.
Vader: *puts hand up, stopping literally any projectiles* Also Vader: *puts other hand up, crushing jet pack, and the spinal cords of everyone he doesn't like in a one mile radius, instantaneously*
If the Jedi was powerful enough, they could use the force instead of their light sabre to directly freeze every pallet, even throw them back against their attacker. But yes, against many lesser Jedi, I can see this being an effective weapon.
@@techromancerzero2709 Yeah loads of the experienced Jedi can "absorb" bullets mid air and direct them back, etc. but any of the jedi with no combat experience are going to get smoked 9/10
By the time of the clone wars it was mostly durasteel with a bit of beskar in it. Most mandalorians killed on screen are shot in an exposed vital area or rounds that can penetrate their armour are being used.
Well actually unlike Din Djarin the whole reason they lost the war was because of too much Beskar mining. This caused them to lack pure Beskar and mix it with another metal making it an alloy. This wasn’t very resistant to lightsabers unlike Din Djarin, Boba Fett, or Sabine Wren’s armour
@@StarWars_InsiderI feel like this is one of the most important aspects to mandalorians lore and history versus Jedi and it wasn't even mentioned. Missed opportunity
highly trained jedi learned how to repel flames, namely Obi-Wan in the OG Clone Wars Cartoon. Also, not the same technique but similar in concept, Luke learned how to walk on Lava in a Legends Novel.

@@notgonnaputmyrealname I don't remember, read it when I was a kid. But it showed dooku while he was a Jedi knight and his meeting Jango for the first time... What was it, 12 Jedi against 30-60 mandolorians? One Jedi remaining and a injured Jango that dooku watched kill 2 with a bullet gun, then with a blade and bare hands he killed another 6.. Jango was much colder than Boba, I mean he has Jedi body count .. that's not the only Jedi Jango has killed, mace only got him because his jet pack was damaged ..
@@Xyla-Lxli hey he's gotta get his title of the most feared bounty hunter somewhere yknow! i feel like Jango should be done right justice with HIS OWN show but let's be honest... Disney wouldn't execute that right so it'd have to be a high quality fan film from someone who ACTUALLY knows Star Wars.. Disney's Intepretation: "The Journal Of Jango Fett"
@@Fatumity more like Jango and friends: the family trip 💀💀 Disney trying to do same to Deadpool, but Ryan Reynolds is threatening to walk away (which is catastrophic since he is Deadpool in act and in writing the script)
actually they almost won and then Reven made the mass shadow generator and destroyed a solar system. It was a tragedy so bad that the Mandalorian army backed off. After which they never had another large scale war.
Alright, now here’s my question about mandalorians. The show’s season 3 ending is around 12 ABY, sequel trilogy is 34 and 35 ABY, that means there’s 22-23 years between them. Why did nobody ever go to the mandalorians and say “hey, you remember when the empire fucked y’all up, like badly? Well this is empire 2.0 just under a different name. Want revenge?” There’s a whole new generation of top tier warriors not to mention the older ones they’re still alive. And with mandalorians being mandalorians they wouldn’t be saying no to that offer.
They still didn’t have the numbers or the funds to rise up or they would have. We see in the Mandalorian series that they’ve been forced to live underground and every time their hidden bases are discovered they have to flee quickly or be routed by imperial forces in short order simply by being out numbered and out gunned.
“History lesson: the Jedi won the war with Mandalore! These tricks will amount to something, maybe save you from time-to-time, but they won't keep you alive in the long run. Only training and discipline will do that.” ~ Kanan Jarrus
they also used a metal called Beskar that was resistant to the blade of a lightsaber, Jango Fett just didn't wear his neck gaurd, leaving a gap in his armor.
They did eventually start using wrist-mounted weapons when they developed droids that weren’t basically glorified security guards, aka the Supers. As for metal bullets, the ammunition needed to match the firepower they have with their blasters would likely mean bulkier storage and way more weight, and they’d still likely end up running out way too quickly, whereas with blasters, you’d likely just need one big enough tibana gas canister to last the droid’s whole lifetime.
Two Words: ‘money’ and ‘efficiency’. The entire idea with the droid army was to have huge amount of units, Quick and cheap. Sure they could have made some special droids made out of beskar, but beskar was rare and slug throwers have the downside of ammo mass. A single gas cannister could have gas to about 300-500 shots. Imagine carrying around that much ammo. So thats why, and the droids still gave the jedi and the clones quite the fight as they were. (And side note they were not to be TOO effcinet. They were meant to loose. Sidious wanted to thin out the herd, but keep Anakin alive. Imagine designing a droid that the jedi were powerless against, and it by accident running into Ani and killing him. There goes the most powerfull forceuser in the galaxy, all because you did your job too well)
Because the main force they were fighting aren't jedi, the jedi are very few in comparison to the clones they were fighting. Are you going to fit all your troops with expensive anti jedi gear when they probably will never come into contact with a jedi in the first place...
Huh oddly enough the same reason the replicators in Stargate couldnt defend against slug throwing guns. Its really hard to defend against high velocity metal slugs
The idea that the jedi died to order 66 but not the Mandalorians is *WILD* bro They survived jetpack equipped rocket and flamethrower heavily armored troops who were immune to the reflected blaster bolts of their own guns because of beskar armor. They used hot metal slugs and shotguns... They survived that but they get destroyed by a few clones with regular blaster rifles and shitty plastic armor? Please.
The one thing the clones got going for thrm is they were all clones of Jango Fett who killed serval Jedi ganking up on him with nothing but his hands. And were mass produced/No plot armor for the Jedi. Serval shots from diffrent angles for example are impossible to deflect. Add grenades and alot more teamwork on the order at itsbweakest in terms of fighters? And caught off guard. Absolutely possible. The Jedi who nearly lost to the Mandalorians of old were still real warriors. The order of Yoda was a joke in comparrison and the clones had Anakin with them. Mace dead, Obi wan gone, Yoda busy with Palpatine? Yep.
Also gotta remember only a couple of them sensed the shift in allegiance. And we're entirely caught off guard by the attacks. It was a well planned Coupe de taute one that took a long time to set up.
Thanks for answering an argument I had with someone. Why ballistic weapons were illegal because they were deadly against the plastic armor and light sabers. You can't get rid of Old Faithful no matter how many years into the future you go.
@alexfuente9986 Wow, I wasn't speaking of our future oh keyboard warrior. 👏👏👏 So intelligently smart you are. What will the world become without your knowledge and input
Seems like "The Force" light or dark side would have tricks an tacts that would surprise/ wreck Mando's essentially given the battles throughout the series.. Regardless of "lightsaber-armor", they could be crushed, drowned, manipulated in various ways to which the guns/equipment would be rendered useless.. 😅..
It's why he was confident in hiring Boba Fett to track a well-known smuggler crew and their Rebel friends in The Empire Strikes Back. Going so far as to command that the Rebels are to be captured alive, NO disintegrations.
The Boba scene from Force unleashed comes to mind. Boba fires a Missile at Starkiller who stops it with the force. Boba pushes button to remote detonate it in his face.
The dumb part about this is that Jedis are pretty damn fast and have a reaction speed faster than a bullet so they can literally just get out of the way or force speed themselves to a safe location or even stop the bullet midflight
Brotha, blasted bolts from a standard handheld blaster travels at around 180 ft/second, bullets speed can vary from 700ft/s to1200ft/s on average if shot from a pistol.
Me as a jedi encountering a mandalorian: Ain't no moral code gonna stop me. *Uses the force to crush the mandalorian's arm so they don't have their wrist rockets or flamethrower.*
I'm fairly certain Shatterpoint was considered a forbidden type of force ability to the Jedi. Mace Windu seemed to be the only exception to the rule but it is generally frowned upon by the Jedi.
@StarWars_Insider I know this is a couple of weeks old, but just as a correction, Crush wasn't forbidden. It was maybe frowned upon, but both Obi-Wan and Windu have used it during the clone wars. Obi-Wan uses it against droids and Windu uses it against Greivous, even if we do say it is forbidden against organics realistically it could still be used on the Jetpacks or any weapons if not the Mandos themselves.
It was also these things (except the armor) Cad Bane used, with a few extra things such as his breathing tubes to make him both able to stay out in space for a short while and securing him form being Force choked
*Some random monk dodges and blocks all of their attacks while using some mystical mental power* Mandalorians: "I don't know what game we're playing, but I've got all day to figure it out."
Back when this was going on, Jedi also wore armor when on missions. This helped to mitigate the dangers of kinetic weapons and blaster fire. It wasen't as good as the Mandalorians armor, but it was enough to get the job done when paired with the Jedi's abilities.
This is probably why Jedi Master Mace Windu didn't hold back against fighting the bounty hunter, Jango Fett, wearing Mandalorian armor and possessing unconventional weapons. They were a larger threat that Windu realized from past history.
Mandalorians also utilized disruptors which passed throw lightsaber blades. And magnetic grenades that lock on to lightsabers. If the Jedi had a apprentice, injury the apprentice to throw off the master, or keep the separated like Maul did with Qui-Gon and Obi Wan.
And this is why that scene where Matrix Jedi Trinity blocks the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) sisters knives with a lightsaber.
The jetpack and wrist weapons were all used by Jango Fett. Being armed to the teeth, wearing a strong armor, and having a jetpack definitely gave him multiple advantages
