Ah yes, killing a fucking giant armored crocodile with one assault rifle pretty fast but a T-rex can take 15 peoples shredding him with assault rifles with no problem, absolutely logic.
@@TotFak If it gets the jump on it, yea. I’m not sure about a 1 v 1 battle tho. This show has some really good stuff, but other stuff is just dog water.
Here is the thing, herbivores are scarier than predators. Predators 9 times outta 10 don't wanna fight you, don't wanna mess with you, as you're a creature of equal size to them and look pretty scary (which is why you make yourself look bigger with some predators). But herbivores, nah you dead because they are DESIGNED to face off against predators. Animals like hippos, rhinos, moose, and elephants are very big examples.
Forget all the animation problems, why do they think every animal is just hyper agro that will want to kill everything it sees, like thats not how animals work lmao
Dude I used to watch you like 9 years ago and you’re the exact same cracked out, pale skinned, beanie wearing dude that’s just so entertaining. Keep it up man you’re doing great but I’m almost convinced this dude is a clone or a robot or something. Literally looks exactly the same.
I would take a new series of primeval with accurate and some inaccurate dinosaurs and creatures like the original series. If i remember it's been ten years so we are waiting for the series and we could get the episode that andrew lee potts wanted to film with having a giant sauropod roaming a city causing damage because it's bumping into buildings.
@@bearminthos they should also have riot make a cameo or other dino and prehistoric creature youtubers either as creature food or casualties or to help with said creatures
So a bit of context of the show. An earthquake happens near the La Brea tar pits. It opens up and a vortex opens up sending the prehistoric vultures. It opens up wider and gets a large group of people. It sends them to 10 thousand BC. Where they have to survive and find a way back to their time ( 2021 ). It is also revealed that the dinosaurs were brought there because a time vortex machine started opening rifts in different time periods. Including 66 million years ago.
i like how the rex IGNORED every single soldier even if it would be easy as hell to eat them only to pick specific targets for 0 reason only to run and keep tanking bullets only so it can MISS the jet and we never get to see what happens after it misses the jet lmao
You realized the T. rex couldn’t eat them because their guns kept on hurting the mouth so instead of eating them, the T. rex knock them over with it head and tail
@@SahilK-xx3iy ok so because the shots were stopping it from eating people.. Why did it Roar at them in every single momment it was shown. So opening and closing its mouth to kill is a no go but doing it to make useless sound at people thats okay and doesnt effect it all… not to mention it having its mouth open some times for no reason at all, or biting the air. Your reply doesnt make sense dude. If the bullets affected it enough to stop it from eating them then the rex should have been long dead😂
15:57 Well to be fair , there is a lot of evidence that many dinosaurs were able to survive extreme wounds / damage. Like an Edmontosaurus survived a T rex attack with just a tooth embedded in its back , A Pachyrhinosaurus with part of its face missing, a Triceratops with a missing horn , and a Therapod with a missing tip of it's tail.
Yeah, then there's the Tyrannosaurus specimen "Stan" that experienced a broken neck, broken ribs, a bite from another Rex into it's brain case, and all three cases lived long enough to heal from said injuries.
Considering it was cut from Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom and didn't appear in JW Dominion. I think this was to make up for it. Also since this show is made by Universal . It is possible they could reuse the Spino model from this show with some modifications for a new Spino clone in another project ( movie or show ).
It isn't weird. It's a fight or flight response. Consuming waaay too much fictional media kinda fried a lot of you guys brains. The pteranodon opt for the flight response. Animals irl don't want to sustain injuries in a confrontation.
Bruh, imagine that t-rex scene was the introduction of movie, and then imagine that same scene but directed by Michael Bay. That entire scene felt like a cheap, tone-deaf parody of a Michael Bay movie.
Talking about characters' plot armor.... that T-rex had the most plot armor in these clips. Had 1000s of rounds dumped into it, and it didn't bat an eye.
12:55 Here where the pteranodon was shot it was the head and shoulder so obviously it would be agitated 14:10 and here she killed the oversized warthog with multiple arrows and by the looks of it it went deep through true shoulder meaning it must’ve been fatal
Hey riot here’s the plot! Big hole open in la, prehistoric life in hole, life escapes, yeah. People survive in prehistoric hole and eventually get out.
0:08 Fun fact : That is where some of the dino facts on Dinosaur Train with Doctor Scott the Paleontologist would be filmed. It is also seen in the upcoming documentary T Rex narrated by Sam Neil.
ive watched the show so lemme explain: so randomly a skinhole opens up in the ground of the city the blonde girl with the prosthetic leg and the brown hair dad are the main charecters family basicly a bunch of people get sent into the sinkhole and it sends them back in time somehow to when dinosors exist its a rlly cool show and i encourage u to watch it edit 1: the had to set up camp to try and survive and also i got smth wrong in there i think but idk its been a few months so the mc family mightv gone it instead of the mom but idk i tried
It's always hilarious how predators don't do any prey handling and either scream at things a fraction of their size or shoulder check them. Also if those wolves are supposed to be Direwolves, the ones shown are quite a bit smaller than even modern Timber Wolves.
I've only seen the first 2 seasons and I thought it got cancelled. It was actually really interesting and I liked the concept. CGI was a tad wonky at times and dialogue was poor at points but I enjoyed it. I'm going to continue it now. Thanks.
hmmm yes, good ol' La Brea, I assume this takes place near the La Brea Tar Pits, the one with all the prehistoric mammals, I can excuse sloths, bears, cats, and rhinos, but Megalania, Argentavis, Spinosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptor, T rex, some sort of Pteranodon, are all obviously found in different places and different times, maybe the big birds are just some sort of teratorn, but Agrentavis lived in South America
The show aired on nbc, which should really tell you everything you need to know Also, I watched season one and I think part of season two and then tuned out after that, the dire wolf design was pretty decent in season one and it would appear that the designs that remained consistent were the smilodon and the short faced bear
I watched the show. There was a scene when a guy saves a woman from a wolf. The wolf was on the ground, the guy opened a car door for the woman, she went in. The stupid thing is he closes the door, instead of going in aswell. and he had the time to go to the other side of the car door aswell, but decides to run and get a stick. The wolf was far away and was getting up slow too.
Pteranodon (the huge flying reptiles with pointy crests) actually weight less than a 90 kg, so I would expect them to get the fuck out of problem even if it's one arrow
Kind of reminds me of Primeval absolutely loved that show as a kid. Rewatched it a few years ago and still think it’s pretty good even if the cgi is sometimes a bit dated.
Also black bears can survive point blank shot with a shotgun, I saw a video where this guy was running away from a black bear, he turned around point the shotgun at the bear face and shot the bear. I only thing that happen was the bear lost balance and rolled
The only thing more unrealistic than a giant prehistoric crocodile being easily wasted is the citizenry being allowed to use firearms in LA. Hollywood logic.
15:43 Ok..I know its a Trex. I love T rex too. Realistically, all those guys shooting at it in a constant stream of bullets would have killed it, come on. At the very least, they would have driven it off before it got shot more. Even if it was all 9 mm, the constant shooting would have eventually driven it off. In modern days, bees and wasps are able to drive off huge animals because their stings are annoying and hurt. This is dumb; you either have situations where killing off an animal makes no sense ("Tiny knife and cave bear") or have a big bad animal tank shots like it's some armored vehicle.
I saw that spino clip the other day and I thought that spino was one of the coolest spino I have ever seen that spino and the jurassic park three spino are two of My favorite ones
I said "Did he just throw the spear at them" out of genuiene concern for his stupidity just for riot to say the same thing 0.5 seconds later (the whooly rhinos)
Ah yes I love how the spinosaurus is actually pretty acurate and nice but the Rex and Velociraptors are just The same un realistic crap were all used to
You gotta love the uncreative designs for just about all these creatures, except for the the spino, but even that still has the “Indominus teeth” and even sports the same patterning as the jp3-
La Brea is one of those shows that sounds really good on paper. It definitely has its moments, but it is usually just… not that good. I love the concept though.
I think the giant snake was ment to be a titanoboa or paleophis Edit: also a arrow would definitely kill a pterasaur if it hit the neck wich it did and if a bear can tank a shot gun to the face those guns shooting at a tyrannosaurus rex wouldent kill it immediately maybe after say 20 minutes of none stop shooting would kill it
No, even bears would die from getting shot that many times, there is a video of a bear getting gunned down by multiple people shooting pistols. The firearms they were using are most likely m4s, and considering it is multiple people shooting a T Rex it would go down in less than a minute from all of the bullets hitting it. Not to mention in Africa, poachers hunt elephants with AK 47s to great success, at your own discretion you can look up elephants killed by AK 47s for reference as to the damage these guns can do to large animals.
“Did she just survive that because she threw a stick? That was so stupid. Whoever wrote that your stupid.” 😂😂😂 dude seriously, who tf thought that was a good idea for that scene 😂😂😂… Swear these Hollywood writers just don’t understand prehistoric creatures.
Well it looks less crazy if you know about the case of a escaped zoo ape that got shoot into his chest directly under his heart & it din't even decrease his stamina as it was calm again & every buff from a adrinaline boost gone. & often enough people did fire the whole magazine of a military grade rifel into a bear or elephant & it had no use. Animals have somehow a tendency to be very ressilient to impacts from fast small objects despite such not happening much in nature odly. But the way it missed the plane...pfffff bahaha wtf?! lol.
@@carno.5911 Nah is still very crazy , those cases of bears surviving shots to the body happen when they use small caliber bullets , but the t rex here was being sprayed by military guns for 20 seconds , thats kaiju durability
@@carno.5911 No people hunt Elephants with AK-47s with great success, at your own discretion you can look up on google images of Elephants killed by these firearms, not to mention firearms like the Elephant Gun exist as well which are made specifically for the hunting of large game.
I agree 100 💯 percent so basically a stupid little bow and arrow 🏹 killed a monster hog wtf these people need like shotguns or something this makes no sense
3:29 no? That’s nit why herbivores kill people…herbivores are often even more aggressive and bad tempered than predators It’s because they have to have that temperment to be able to fight off predators. Predators are often the more chill ones That’s why dogs and cats are great let’s because they’re predators
That plane scene bahha that's the most unbelieveable thing any paleo show every tried to sell me, & i seen enough mookbusters from asylum films & co lol!. But T-Rex surviving all the gunshoots looks less crazy if you know about the case of a escaped zoo ape that took a shoot into his chest directly under his heart like nothing happend, even after his adrinaline rush declined. & this was a big gunshoot from the kind of gun that shoots trough police car doors across 70 meter or more & often enough people did fire the whole magazine of a military grade rifel into a bear or elephant & it had no use. Animals have somehow a tendency to be odly ressilient to impacts from fast small roundisch objects despite such not happening much in nature, which is why you need shotguns which fire a bunch of sharp shrapnels for big animals. So i think a animal as giganting as a T-rex coul indeed survive that many shots from rifels made to hurt humans, even if military grade.
No a T Rex wouldn't survive that many shots from that many rifles shooting it, one person with good aim and placement could kill a Rex by themselves. Look up elephants killed by AK 47s at your discretion if you want a reference to the damage these guns can inflict to large animals, a T Rex would get dropped in less than a minute. There is even a video on RU-vid in which a bear gets killed by multiple people shooting it with pistols.
