Happened to me. Got a second 48v 20amp battery. A battery blender. Therefore only pulls half the amp from each battery. Problem solved plus twice the range. Safe ride ✌
We have Lectric ebikes from 2020 a version one and a version 2. Each of them has close to maybe 5,000 mi on them and we've been using the original battery and then some extra batteries that we've got. It has taken me some time to realize how important it is to charge these things deliberately, taking time to measure how close they are to fully charged and as soon as they're fully charged unplugging them. And then when it comes to winter making sure that they're down to 50% or so for storage. I didn't become careful about batteries until our very first battery got super hot one evening and after cooling it down with some ice bags realized I really needed to take more time and care charging each battery. Your bag experiment would be helpful to learn from. But I trust that you will be cautious if you do try it and do it in a safe way. bad cell.take battery out of case, test each cell.if you find bad cell ,replace it. this should be done by a professional or competent person due to volatility of battery.the awakwardness created by this problem is getting the repair done with reasonable cost, if not under warrenty its almost cost effective to buy a new battery which is absurd.around here nobody wants to work on ebike batteries due to firehazzard aspect.
I'm having the same problem with my Effbike and have just exhaled at having my problem diagnosed. Battery is 4 years old with 3,600km on it, compared to other commentators, I seem to have done pretty well. I'll order a new one in the morning.
Just purchased two Bintelli Florence e-bikes. took a ride to try them out after charging. My wife's bike shut off just about a mile up the road. Shut it off waited 20 seconds turned it back on and the battery indicator worked after power reset, was dead on bike display and the indicator before resetting power. Turned display back on and went maybe 50 yards died again. I have two of the same bikes so swapped batteries and the problem moved to my bike. Bad battery. Called dealer and he said that the batteries are on back order. Did try one more experiment and tilted the bike and ran it with no load and it ran fine. Took for a ride and maybe 50 yards died again. Bad battery.
As voltage decreases amperage increases to reach the same power or watts. Likely, a “safety” is in the control to shut down upon low voltages. If somehow you can maintain proper voltage under load you’re back in business. Some batteries will show proper voltage but they can’t deliver any amps due to degradation of the circuit. Volts are not a useful indicator of battery life.
Me also exprienced the same issues. I took out the 4 batteries and tested them. All 3 reading 12.++ volt which is fully charged but the 4th only reads 6.++ volts. Eventhough the motor specs says 48v 12amp and the total power of the batteries exceeds 50v but when i got on the bike it only accelerates intermittently...... whereas when its on the stand it works perfectly. I strongly believes that the problem lies on the dead battery which is not charging. The charger insted shut off when i tried to charge it.......
Had same issue with Heybike Mars the battery it shipped with. Battery was just over 1 year old by a few days . After videos and bouncing emails back and forth with China they sold me one at 1/2 price. I use it on the wife's bike she weighs less and it can go around 17 to 20 miles before it kicks out. I have good spares. I blame myself it was depleted a couple times when we were caught out late in the winter and the temp dropped 20 degrees on the way back. Had to peddle back the last few miles in the snow. Freeport to Butler trail for Pittsburgh locals.
My Shengmilo Mx03 Its the connection ,bad design ,the round pins moving in connectors on battery, when gong over bumps, eventually slacken , causing burnt connectors,
I had a similar (but different) problem on my Pedego bike. In PAS 5 the bike recently has started cutting off the pedal assist but the controls, display and everything stay on, thank goodness! To resolve I have to switch down to PAS 4 and then it clicks back on. This has happened three times. All three times I was going uphill and definitely not riding at over 20mph so it was definitely NOT a speed limiter overriding and turning off the pedal assist. I had it looked at in the Pedego shop but the guy could not replicate the problem. Haven't had the opportunity to ride since I got it back, so I don't know when / if this will happen again. I have about 600 miles on my bike (bought new) and have owned it for less than a year. If it's the battery I definitely want to know because they will need to send me a new one!
Hmm thank you for explaining your problem. Yeah that is weird and not sure if it would be your battery or not since it’s not shutting all the way down. Keep us updated if you figure out what it is.
If your bike is in the de-restricted mode, this will make the motor work twice as much, try putting it back into restricted mode .... Reset all the settings in the display.... Hopefully you should be ok
A customer has an aventon level 2 if i remember a few things plus the battery got replaced and it has a similar issue it gets a load and it the power shuts off specially touching the back brake
I have a Skylark and I tried it. It says it’s fully charged with the green light but when I start riding it and go uphill for a little bit and then suddenly I’ll start dying down then I’ll stop turn off the key turn the key back on it’ll give me power again, but when I notice after a half hour the battery starts to die down
Lithium batteries do not like being stored at 100% and are more dangerous when sitting like that. They are typically the happiest when stored at their nominal state of charge because there will be less degradation over time.
My isinwheel M10 is only a week old. It worked perfectly til llastnigght. When I go to 5th, it will accelerate for like 1 second but stops accelerating. I still have power to the display, just the bike won't accurate as it should. Any ideas?
I have had five bikes all same company and batteries never a issue with batteries powering the bike . But none of the lights never worked properly when I push the test button
my battery is fully charged but i think some issue with cord where battery get adjust is suppose some water molecules get inside that but they were just few is there any solution???????
I have the same problem I have two 48v 20ah battery's my newer battery cut's off in power mode 5 after a couple of hundred metres or so . My older 48v 20ah battery is like yours it works well under load ie 3 & 4 then soon as I go up to 5 it cuts out and it's annoying 😢
I uave an ebike I bought a new 1500 watt hubmotor and compatible controller with displayand throttle i hooked it up without any brake sensors hooked ip and no pedal assist we hen I take off after a few seconds it cuts off I release the throttle and hit it again it repeats itself but whenvi had it on blocks it did fine when le testing it but under load it cuts out
Car batteries are ruined😅 by putting them on cement directly ,im not sure if ebike is same. my battery was put on cement ,then i started getting power cutting out.

Hello bro, don’t mean to call you, bro. Will you help me out whether you realize it or not but in a way I’m trying to get something to figure out here the same situation you’re having with the first one where it would just cut out when you give a full throttle, it goes uphill perfectly fast it zips it does everything But like you said after with me, it seems to be not after the second or third or fourth time it seems like after like the fifth or sixth time it does that and I just did what you did I all I did was plug it in for five seconds the charger Took it out press the power and it was full charge. I mean it also got tested and it’s also reading full battery you know and I was out there doing range test it could pass the range test but not like that. I would like to know what it is if you have a solution or I mean, that’s the solution but I mean, come on be real if if this happens while going on a range far distance, you don’t wanna have this issue there’s not a socket everywhere. I’m trying to think how I can’t. You have to use a socket unless you got some special equipment I don’t know, but if you found if you found out why it does that and what to do with it let me know please thank you because at least at least I know when I turn the power on it goes at least I know now don’t hit full throttle, not even with pedal assist. I think the difference between mine and your bike is your bike has different gears mines more smaller and it only has it’s only pushing the hub motor is only pushing one gear up that’s it.
I was gifted and FU care a bike from a friend. He didn't have any instruction manual or anything. And He didn't really know how to Set up the display screen and all. I was playing around with it and just trying to figure stuff out without a manual and and f. Y. I.ing it on Utube...of course after I pushed buttons on said display " Coughing and clearing my throat before I continue""SQUIRREL" too late! Apparently somehow I setup a 4 digit password???I have no clue what I did .being how I got the bike 2nd hand ✋️ Fucare ebike pretty much just hung up on me and blocked me now im stuck with a locked ebike and stretched beyond belief! Never even thought of ebikes before and now I am hooked! OR Should I say was hooked 😢well if there's anything anyone knows. It would be greatly appreciated!
