Russ discusses his disillusionment with the Catholic Church due to the hypocrisy he witnessed among its members, which led him to question his faith. The conversation emphasizes the importance of personal relationships with God over mere church attendance, highlighting the role of structured discipleship and foundational classes in nurturing faith. They discuss the profound impact of church leaders' actions on believers and the necessity of authentic leadership. The video underscores the need for rebuilding trust in faith through personal dedication to God and not letting others' failures derail one's spiritual journey.

One thing I’ve also noticed is when pastors or leaders try to be relatable to lay people, they may take them to dinner at a bar or they play secular music in the church, etc. I think this also turns people off because they are looking for a place that’s different than the world, they are looking for something the world can’t offer, but when we look just like the world, it’s a disappointment for them. People will respect our faith and church when we start also respecting and reverencing the Spirit of God. People will have so much more respect for us when we actually are honest and remain firm in our devotion.

The problem isn't that you're eating at a restaurant or listening to secular music. The problem isn't that you're in the world, or that you even appear worldly. The problem is that you all love as the world loves, that is, with conditions.

More churches need to offer new members and discipleship classes. 80% of things I have learned has been outside of my local church when it comes to living this life according to the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. Plus, no newborn Christian should be hosting and leading a small group.

What’s really interesting about this situation is the fact that God is STILL pursuing them. To have a conversation like this on a large platform- they are opening themselves up to honest discourse with believers. Because why continue talking about it if your decision was made as a child? Or… continue seeking validation from others about why you can’t go all in? Every day I have something that I feel may require repentance… why is it so hard to bend the knee? Pride.

I feel that most people believe it's too hard to live a sin free life. In reality we can't. The only perfection is in our choice. Either you believe we are saved by grace and that Christ provided it at the Fathers request or you don't. This doesn't give us permission to sin but because we love Christ we obey his commandments

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4. B Simone is clearly very carnal in her walk. I think she like most Christians today are not willing to die to themselves and live a consecrated like like God tells us. They are very much too concerned about what others think and willing to be luke warm. I think it’s extremely dangerous to have a mind set like that while having a platform as big as hers. I pray she gets deeper in her walk because she’s not holding these guest accountable. God tells us to be set apart. You cannot be on the fence on this walk that is why it says you are not to be of this world but in the world. She has some maturing to do. You can’t serve God and Money.

God does not want us to come to Him out of fear of going to hell, He wants us to come in faith in His Son. A confession rooted in fear is an unstable foundation and is less likely to produce a proper perspective and understanding in what it is to live free in Christ.

In the area I'm in the catholic church is losing a lot of people that are around me. I have come along and reminded them that they should leave their faith in man. We will fail them everytime. And encourage them to read the Bible and trust God. And let them know they are always welcome to my church or to try another place. I pray for them and tell them not to give up on God when we fail them. Because he never fails.

I listened to Joel Osteen years ago and still pursued a godly life. I can't say his teaching told me it was OK to sin. People pull from teachings what their heart is open to and leave the rest. All the conversations on this topic make me think of the parable of the sower. The word is constantly under attack/competition not to grow roots in the heart.

This makes me wonder who is B. Simone under to receive discipleship. We all need someone who is mature in Christ to help us with our walk with Christ especially those who are new to the faith. I appreciate what B. Simone is trying to do but I mentioned to my mom that if God told her to walk away from all of this, would she? And also, I keep hearing people leaving the faith because of the people around them who were pretending, which is wrong. My question is did they ever look at Jesus. He's the standard. Like Plain James said, there are good and bad in everything. But the difference is that we will have to let go of our desires, ways, and lifestyle that doesn't align with God. I think that's the struggle. I went through that and I'm seeing this with friends and family too.

She said she goes to Change Church with pastor Dharius Daniels. B Simone is on her faith journey and she’s using her platform to learn more about Christ through conversation while sharing with the world. I do think she is deeply attached to money, fame and her platform and wants to ease her following into the new her she’s becoming. I think she should care less about appealing to her audience and focus more on pleasing God. I do think she is making positive moves and going in the right direction.

I was glad when the conversation went left and the focus became more on condemning Joel Olsteen, that my man with the red hat go everyone back focus. I’ve never personally listened to a single Joel sermon but as believers a lot of times we get caught up in playing the blame game and saying who is wrong. Instead our focus should be on what is right. We don’t need more people telling us what the wrong thing is but non-believers need to know that Jesus is the only way and that whatever He said is the right way to live.
@PastorWill_

I’ve said this thousands of times after growing up in church. Now understanding scripture for myself is that, people should not be getting saved at church. It’s the gathering place for already believers to be discipled and the place of refuge to fellowship. Prayer strength and encouragement all of that good stuff. Why? So that they can be productive disciples in the streets to win souls outside of the 4 walls. The great commission is to go OUT into all the world and preach the gospel not bring all in. Jesus (word) will do that. The church has become something else and not what Christ intended- everything Paul said concerning the different churches are what we are to do (minus the cultural commands). The World is always going to have something to say but some make valid points that needs to be considered without compromise.

Shalom men of God and many blessings to you and to your beautiful wives and families (personal/ministries). I do not disregard this young man of valour's decision in leaving the religious practice he was under. But this is the thing. If The Most High GOD allows certain people to be exposed to those kind of experiences, it is not so they can embrace a distorted view about Him and the life He identifies with. The Most High will expose certain people to those kind of experiences to show them what His image and life is not. And He is also using those kind of experiences to teach them what not to do when being engaged in this walk with Him. Those experiences are not there and present in our personal space so we can make excuses on why we should leave The Most High God. We are still accountable for finding out the truth for ourselves when it comes to this walk in Christ. The Most High GOD will allow us to see bad and corrupt examples in religious practices so He can teach us and show us how to be pure expressions of this walk. Those toxic experiences and bad examples of His image and life are teaching instruments that place a demand on our value to live above the false and hypocritical representations. We are entrusted with the responsibility to learn the truth about The Messiah Jesus Christ/Yehushua Hamashiach and how He expresses the exemplar model of His Father's image in both the earth realm and spirit realm. It is not wise for any human soul to allow the imperfections of human nature to keep them from understanding the truth about the perfection and holiness of The Messiah and The Father. We are without excuse. We are accountable for knowing the truth for ourselves. When we allow the bad examples of other people to dictate how we see the walk of The Most High, we are exposing where we are in our heart conditions. It exposes a presence of immaturity and underdevelopment in that area. I am not saying that in an insulting way. I am saying that to show the truth about a person's need of discipleship in that area. Discipleship helps us to eliminate bad decisions making when it comes to this walk, especially when we see ungodly expressions of this walk. GOD Bless you all and thank you for allowing me to share this. Shalom unto you and to your beautiful wives and families.
