@@cycledrag, tomorrow? Fine, i 'm going to send my grandmother with a shopping bag in each hand and an "Aprula" sticker on her tits. I am sure you will call her an "Aprula" bagger! 🤣🤣🤣 A-PRI-LIA that's Italian. 😂😂😂
Lol yeah right. I owned a dyna 103 and it came out to 1690cc and it was slow as hell. Didnt even compare to my cbr600rr. The 1690cc had only a whopping 80hp 🤣😂 imagine if a superbike had that cc what it would pull on numbers!? Probably 300hp+ 🏍🤘
@@hunterbias3437 yea dude. All because they dont want to liqued cool the bikes lmao. They had too bring in fuckin porsche to liqued cool there v-rod 😂 I hate v-twins. V4s now thats different. I also hate triples unless its 675 or over like the Daytona 675r or MV agusta f3 675 or 800. I told my nephew to get a 600 and he got a 650 and I disowned him 😂🤣. He said he wanted a bike with handle bars and I said do what I did buy a 600 and put handle bar kit on it. If anyone is reading this and you dont have a bike yet DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!
maybe they want to ride for more than 15 minutes without an ass cramp and quick and fast are not the same your just to stoopid to know the difference between them
i guess im asking randomly but does anybody know of a way to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot the password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
God this is hard to watch. I owned two harleys and they are slow as piss. Didnt wanna knock it intill I tried it. I traded my s1000rr for a dyna. Never again!!
I went from a cbr959 Honda to a Harley road glide and I completely agree with you slow bulky heavy and suspension bottoms out on anything plus brakes are a fucking joke never again
@@SkinnySkates exactly!!!! Any real motorcyclist will tell you harleys suck but guys that ride just harleys the harley is God to them lol it's hilarious
Harley drivers can't pronounce anything else except the word "Harley"; maybe sometimes "Davidson" if they pause then take a run at it. Everything else is a Ricer to them. Don't ask too much. They wear half helmets and beanies so their brains won't overheat while they're trying to shift gears in the middle of a curve.
All I know is I've owned a 2006 gsxr 750 and I now own a 2013 street glide and I will NEVER go back to a sport bike. I can ride my glide for hundreds of miles and get off at the end of the ride and feel like I need to get back on it. I went like 300 miles on my gsxr and when I got off I didnt want to get back on it for at least a couple days. I'm just giving my personal experience.
Try a hayabusa, zx 14 or even the BMW K1300, they are sport touring bikes, you can take a spirited ride and be comfortable as well, easily lay down 300 to 400 miles NP. A GSXR 750 is made for the track not long rides, Harley's are for cruising, that's like comparing apples to oranges.
I can attest to a GSXR not being the best choice for long mileage days, but not all sportbikes are the same. My 14 is a dream to ride long, spirited, cruising, etc. side note, also depends on how ya ride em. if you try to slab a GSXR, yeah, it sucks. but canyon carve that beeatch... oh HELL yeah! I put 350 miles on my 750 up in the Hills and didn't want to get off of it. Had an absolute blast!! BUUUT, there is no way I could do 350 miles of the superslab. That's why I love my 14. it does both quite well.
do people seriously not understand the difference in motorcycle types? oh, this cruiser is much more comfortable than a race bike... no shit... almost like sport bikes aren't meant for long straight roads, or even gently curves... seriously, how do people keep getting dumber and dumber? we figured this shit out with magazines at most, y'all have the damn internet and are absolutely clueless. even people that DID know, somehow forget how literally everything works. i don't get it.
@@js53168 just a CAI, Ivan's flash, and a set of Vance & Hines Big Shots (2-1-2, sadly discontinued). And it's darksided, so the 205/60-16 BF Goodrich on the back means it hooks up well. Using a data-logger shows it should be a mid-12 second machine at sea level. I'd love to throw a hair dryer on mine, but not sure if it has enough injector for it, and don't know what's available that would fit if it turned out the stock injectors couldn't keep up. I may throw a small nitrous kit on it if the track closest to me will ever decide whether it's going to stay open or not LOL!
@@noahmercy-mann4323 I've got the intake, controller and 2 into one full exhaust from Cobra but it hasn't made that much difference over stock. It's tough finding performance parts, but there are lots available for other Yamaha products. I'm hoping 155cc (Yamaha Nmax 155 / R15 V2 - Super Jet Racing Injector 8 Holes 150Cc / Brt) performance injectors work with the "hair dryer". Looking forward to next winter!
My experience in this racing, it's hard being the faster bike, waiting 4 and 5 seconds for your side of the tree to come down, it's easy to lose your concentration.
did you get to test ride the hd v-rods that were the first of all pro stock nhra bikes to ever run faster than 7 sec ...somewhere around 6.92 @ 197 mph winning 10 championships in a row against suzuki gsx-r
Addy Adderson it's call bracket racing. ... he ran him down but didn't beat him to the line. catch is not to go faster then your dialed in time . if you do your DQ. in a heads-up race it wouldn't be even close. so your comment is mute . really no point to it ...
My brother has a 90s vmax, that thing is nuts. I " a harley owner" am not afraid to admit it. Its funny watching old harley guys being to prideful to acknowledge it..
I'm surprised there's no VTX1800's out there, it's a hell of fun for 1320. 12.5s in stock form is decent. Add a supercharge, or turbo with ram air kit, and you got a real runner!
I knew a young man entered a bracket race with a stock Ford model a, he was unbeaten because the model a ran the same time every time. If you got to the finish first you broke out when racing against that A.
No Ducati’s? Apparently it was consolation day and the real champs stayed home haha. I had an old 750ss and the thing stock would pop a power wheelie in 3rd gear. Vid on my channel of it starting one time
11.90 dial in for the Vic? And you can knock out 700 800 mile rides cruising at 3000 rpm's all day every day. I'll never understand why they quit making them.
Just not a fan of bracket racing. If it's not heads up it doesn't seem right. Did it many years ago with my '68 Camaro SS 396, ... but could never see it as real racing. Might as well buy a VW Beetle and get a 10 second head start. ;)
Yeah why is that apparently no one watches real drag racing motorcycles or they would know but the Harley-Davidson is the top dog it's called Pro Street motorcycles
I don't understand the point against racing sport bikes vs cruisers? Sport bikes are made for speed and agility I understand that a souped-up cruiser can be very fast but idk to me it's like racing a stock Honda Civic type r against a Dodge demon.. also I do understand it is fun no matter what but still cruiser versus cruiser would be nice
This is so sad watching that guy on the harley. What bastard told him harleys are fast😂 I have a BONE STOCK honda vtx1800 that runs 12.5 and by the looks of it, that guy has considerably more money in his than I do mine. And with a simple tune I could probably squeeze a win out on him
@@grren1782 I'm 100% sure that's not accurate. Noone has ever accused sportsters of being fast, and a stock bike running 8's is just ridiculous, I mean comon.
I totally get this sentiment, but it bothers me that a big motor puts out half the power of a smaller motor. Pricing out a turbo now. Speed bikes are too impractical for northern alberta.
@@js53168 configuration and liquid cooling are the deciders. v-twins are made for torque, and don't make the horsepower that inline fours do. conversely, for every 1000cc inline four out there throwing down 150+ hp, they make less than 100 lb-ft of torque. they're just built for different purposes, to do different jobs. i love both my bikes, but i can't expect one to do the others job.
at real drag races you are required to spin your tire to clean it off ''the guy on the Aprilia was not required to clean his tire ...and now he is contaminating the track posing a danger to himself, track officials , and the spectators
these arent classed race bikes for real, this is weekend fun. harleys have ruled drag bikes for decades. get out from behind the computer and experience the world, its pretty amazing
Guess you never worked in a shop full of Harley’s lol they have the worst track record for reliability! They overheat so easily and shake themselves loose all over and leak oil cause seals age prematurely!
@@rugbyfan9417 Uh no, if you can make a Honda Grom be consistent you can compete...the idea is to be as close to your "dial in" as possible, without going too fast (Breaking Out) its quite fun...the only thing is if you are very fast, and the other racer is slow...it feels like you are going to "Drive Over" your competitor!
The Stoner Byron Hines rigged up two string trimmer motors on a frame for his first drag bike. Mike Dunn won a lot of bicycle drag races as a kid. Next kid you see racing a moped could be your next John Force.
The Stoner A guy in my town lost his license and got a moped with like a 150 or 175 engine that looked just like the 50cc, just had a bit bigger rear tire, the cops thought it was a 50cc, he was happy, that thing would scoot!
This is why racing is stupid...im glad when i play hockey that the lesser team isnt spotted 4 goals. If you cant win without a head start you shouldnt be winning.
Jammon this is just one of many classes. There are a lot of "heads up" start, first to the finish line categories too. This is a catch all known as bracket racing.
Why bother........... Why do they have to have their own class? Oh, that's right. They can't compete with the Hayabusa's................. Double digit 1/4 miles? It's exciting as watching grass grow.
