Depending on the scenario, obviously. Mostly true. Noobs notoriously can't handle pressure. But like Nathan said, the greens will call you down with top pair. You'll know if they have top pair by how they play the hand. Flop doesn't help em, they're out of the hand a larger percentage of the time than seasoned profitable amateurs and pros. Which is why the C bet is so important. I also realize that many of the online poker sites are overseas and that they make the most money when you refill/rebuy. I am stoked about moving to Vegas in March, April. Legit online poker sites and lots of low-hanging fruit (tourists) at outlying casinos off the strip.

That is correct! Sometimes proper strategy is "looking like a fish", or purposely making fishy mistakes and letting everyone see it. Correct Nate?

I do understand. I also realized for me personally, it's Wayyyy tougher to make any real money without bluffing. I think the pros agree it's all timing and telling a convincing story without giving away any tells, which goes without saying.

It’s not a float if you’re the preflop raiser and it’s checked to you. A float would be if the big blind raise preflop and then bet the flop and you call.

What you said was right, after calling the turn, its a very low % he folds the river on a 4. AK stands for always killed in cash games. It's a trouble hand, so many times.

@@BlackRain79Poker Haven't seen a vid yet that wasn't helpful. Because, at the point we think we know everything, we cease to learn. When unteachable, a basic knowledge can take you only so far and in lower stakes, especially. I play a soft seat or two here in AZ. It's exactly like you say, in that if you want to make money, you don't play as many regs as you do fish. If we watch sharks in high stakes, the pros that take home thousands, hundreds of thousands and sometimes millions, they don't eat one another until the end, really. Right? The bulk of the eating, anyway and depending on the game of course, is consuming a diet of primary softer slower fish. I am not EVEN a shark, nor do I consider myself one. It's almost a degrade to poker players to call certain players "sharks" because of all the work they/we put into finding, studying and consuming fish. the study of their body language, tendencies, habits (many of which you have pointed out). Anyway, I woop the same people at the bar all the time and they either myself or the dealer are cheating them. Truth is, they probably think poker is all luck, or something. I don't know, but they lose consistently because they don't take pro advice from all parts of poker, especially the areas they're weak in. Obviously (to a large degree) these people are unreachable and consequently do not grow as poker players. One last thing. My opinion for what it's worth to anyone... is that as poker players, to really make leaps on our game, we have to truly love the game itself. That being said, there is no game I enjoy playing more. What he said, also remember, its not JUST the story "You're trying too tell, but the story that you're opponent is telling YOU" ... Both your stories together must make sense..
