The Speaker of the House does not have the authority to fact check. The speaker must remain neutral and allow all MPs to hear questions and responses *regardless of whether they are true.* The Speaker's only duty is to maintain order in the house and to ensure Parliamentary rules and protocol are obeyed impartially. He/she does not have the authority to shut down anyone he/she claims is spreading misinformation. If they did, nobody in Parliament would be permitted to speak a word. lol.

Im a working class average Canadian. I have not received a single penny in carbon tax rebates, plus they assigned a bot to my CRA account demanding all CERB benefits returned from three years ago, without an agent doing an audit or investigation. We were under threat of fine or imprisonment if we didn't close the doors during the lockdowns and now they say I didn't deserve any benefit to survive during that time. This is how the Liberals work.
