I mean he was kinda frontlining like they said, but there's nothing better to do as ball on Oasis University. It's a really crappy ball map and the other 2 are much easier to carry on. Map design diff
During the video I thought ball should've said something along the lines of "I think I deserve an apology" but suddenly the kiriko said "Im sorry Ball for being mean". Gotta respect that.
Not really she only said sorry because she found out she was wrong, she called him a thrower and was being hella annoying, just don’t accept the apology fuck en no respect.
I agree with horror junkie, she said sorry cuz of a bruised ego. She should’ve apologized regardless of Chazm doing good or not. It was a very hollow apology
BALL is literally the EASIEST hero to trash talk. It doesn't matter if you're a top 500 ball God... You will always get the blame lmaoo. Play bad for the 28.42 first seconds of the match and you're already trowing even if you win or bring it back. What an honor to be a ball main
yeah but it makes sense. if your tank isn't performing it feels like your team's fighting without a back bone and it's more prevalent in the case of ball since he's not even there to be a meatshield. sadly, bad hamsters literally make the match feel like a quick play roll and a waste of time.
Its the same problem as sombra, balls contribution isnt as easily visible to your team and so as far as they car it doesnt exist. Ball or sombra behind their lines wiping out their healers and stopping the enemy team from grouping up? Suddenly its your fault because youre not "with the team" or "contributing to group fights", if youre the best on your team and you lose, its still your fault naturally.
As much as i dislike Widow players: they get flamed faster than anyone else if they aren't popping off from the get go. People just LOVE to blame others, no matter what.
@@xxx4gravy20xxx6 yeah, Wrecking ball's role as a tank isn't to really shield. He's supposed to harass the enemy team to take aggro off his own team. And because he's not like a traditional tank, people find it really easy to blame him even if he's doing his job correctly.
@@doeritobag3723 Exactly. The Kiriko's an ass. She just apologized because Ball did well and so she was wrong, implying that she wouldn't have apologized had Ball done bad. She shouldn't have been mean in the first place, but I don't think that's where her apology is coming from. Just because someone is doing bad doesn't mean you're allowed to talk shit at them. Not being toxic and a downer is the bare minimum and should not merit any higher respect.
@@John-xt5rl I do agree with you but on overwatch and most competitive games it's rare for anyone to ever apologise after being toxic cause people don't wanna be admit they were wrong so I do respect that his team did what most don't
@@user-ke1gn3ql1g I see what you’re saying but u don’t stick with the team on ball and randoms don’t understand that at gold so they get mad at you for not frontlining
People are so quick to blame. I had a game of KR defence as ball. Gate opened and some chump playing Soldier decides to peek the widow and insta-dies. The same guy is telling me I'm throwing the game while he's coming back from spawn. The rest of the team join in and spend most of the game flaming me, so I leave voice. In the end, we lost by about 10 metres on C -- the game was super winnable, but my team decided that I was throwing halfway through the first teamfight and spent a lot of emotional energy telling me I was the problem. After the game, a few people on my team said "report ball" in chat, and other team was like "? Ball was good" I don't mind it if someone politely asks me to switch after a few minutes of us getting rolled, but some people will literally throw the game / mentally boom themselves because of your pick _before leaving spawn_. People be brain-dead.
similar to you but being a doom OT i had a soldier who kept dying to widow before i even have a chance to contest her everytime after that he swapped to sombra and raged on chat telling me im awful and dont deserve to win etc while being him 5-11 to widow first round its so hard maining/onetricking an off meta tank because of the teammate that gaslight you into swapping i wish i had a stronger mental
@@megvzx6590 definitely dps diff, It's mostly dps main who keep trying to contest peek with Widow💀 It isn't really Tank job to kill dps since both side have Them
honestly it's even funnier when the enemy team is not only like "X was good" but also was like "dude, your X was the only one doing anything" (had this happen as Brig, where I was popping off and out-tanking my tank even tho I was getting flamed for it)
something so many ow players need to understand is that when you have teammates you think are underperforming being toxic doesnt make them want to do any better it just makes them worse
As a vet OW player never ever tell anyone to swap. The only thing you can do is suggest a good hero swap and ask if they want to play it or if they can play it.
Ball takes most skill compared to any other hero's since Ball doesn't rely on Just aim but also at map awareness the fact that groundpound and ramming is a must otherwise they outheal the damage
What it really feels like when you're on ball and your team has terrible positioning... Instantly your fault. It doesn't matter if they would keep dying even after you switch. It kinda blows my mind when they die for being bad when all they gotta do is let me disrupt their team and capitalise on it...
It's always delightful watching you play wrecking ball. You dominate this hero as you please. The amount of time you played him only can tell that you are the hamster that's inside of that ball 😂
If you play ball and you win, your team are gonna think they carried. If you play ball and lose, your team are gonna think they lost because of you. They live in their own world.
@@TheMenIdo agreed, but you’ll get in matches where your an absolute demon decimating the back line constantly seeing ball in the killfeed they acknowledge you then when the number gap between you and the dps is high.
Might be a pain in the arse to setup, but i'd really love if you'd do a few videos with that program that shows your inputs on your kb/m Keep up the great vids!
You’re built different…I have never found a good ball tech video showing how to do the wall jumps. Not even Yeatle, his stuff is super brief. Ball tech video about how to do those wall jumps so seamless would be amazing. I was shook in your one video on kings row when you chased down Jay3 with that YUGE wall jump.
I was once a victim like the ones early in the video, glad the kiriko apologized but man people can't have amazing games every single game gotta give people a chance especially when it's the hero they main there's just so much wasted energy in flaming people to swap just because you lost a couple team fights. I only started to finally climb out of "elo hell" when I decided to ignore people blaming/flaming me to swap because I'm "hard countered" what I've learned from watching you / other creators that make off meta heroes work is with enough practice you'll get better and better at beating the "hard counters" and it's really starting to all come together for me because of your guys dedication to the off meta heroes so thank you :) love the content keep it up, so satisfying watching you bully Sombra
the apology was more insulting than anything, because she only did it when the ball got good, when there wasn't an excuse to call him a thrower like both of his supports were doing earlier this match. Dont give people that much respect if they have so little faith in you that they tell you to swap beginning of the game and call you a thrower.
@@SergentInvictus and support players always want to play the victims when it comes to overwatch toxicity lol.. I think thats why tanks tend to hate support the mosts, because they are always the first to bitch when you don't get a meatsheild and want to play off tanks rather then "generic orisa / hog ".
That Kiriko first game was big character development. Good on you for not talking shit back. They got so silent that I thought u went AGAINST them for a moment and you were gonna roll them for it lmao
bruh if i was a complaining about my tank being ball then saw them pulling techs like that i’d probably shut up and let him game. win or lose i’ve got mad respect for gamers that master the hero like that.
Confidence only comes with experience gained by taking the leap my man. Don't let the toxic community that is OW competitive bully you into submission. There's holes in these players gameplay. Shun the non believers. Be the ball you were born to be.
Practice and swing out wide towards the outer edge of the pit so the grapple is like / rather than | = less vertical distance = less likely to touch the water and die. It's a tricky one tbh, I can do it from a few different positions, but the one in the vid is too risky for me to try in a comp game.
Practice in a custom game with the workshop code that lets you spawn stationary bots and try until you get it right. Put them on the bridge so u can practice knocking them off. I dont remember what the code is but search "all wrecking ball techs" on youtube and theres a video from a few days ago. In the description is the code for it
Ball! Incidentally, I had a QP match just now with a Sweaty Cassidy talking trash after we lost the First Round. Called him a sweaty tryhard and my team went on winning the 2 rounds straight. I stalled the point for close to 20 seconds until my mates got back from spawn and won. We rolled at Round 3 because the enemies keep WASTING their hooks and darts on me and MISSING. Accused me of being a smurf account. 🤣🤣🤣
since iv started playing ball the amount of times my team blames me for every little thing that happens in the game is so funny, the more they cry the more i wanna play the character hehe
