Ben, I don't often leave RU-vid comments but this video was stunning in its production values and content. You can really sense the effort that's gone into producing something this good. Really interesting information, beautifully shot and great music. I hope RU-vid starts to suggest your videos to more people because they blow a lot of other content on here out of the water. I look forward to the next video!
Went 3 times last year. Can’t get bored of it. Love it. So much to do and see. Just been to Gdansk. Warsaw and Wrocław in one trip too. Also loved them
@@BenRobson123 oh yes. Gdansk was amazing. Exceeded my expectations. Took trip to sopot and Westerplatte. Loved it. Wrocław was nice but not as good as Warsaw krakow and Gdansk in my opinion. Warsaw old town is very nice. Lots to do there. Would highly recommend
We spent a week in Krakow in March. We visited Auschwitz, old town, bunny cafe, shooting range, museums and waxworks (etc) . We did so much while we were there and loved it. I'd love to go back to another part of Poland but not sure if anywhere could top Krakow ?
I just got back from Krakow. Really beautiful city. And this time of year - the city park smelled like a perfume as all the trees were blossoming. I could not get enough of that beautiful smell.
Another excellent video, you should work for the tourist board as you promote beautiful Poland with lots of useful tips for visitors. I have visited Krakow three times, your video brought back lots of great memories. Thanks for sharing and keep up the fantastic work.
Obiously you are a master of using lots of words without saying anything, chapeau. "Lots of useful tips ..." as if not anybody with an intelligence level higher than an orang utan would not find all these places by himself.
Your videos are great! I always share them with my friends who plan to visit Poland. It is nice that you pay attention to architecture which is beautiful in many Polish cities. Greetings from Gdynia!
As always, I totally enjoy your videos. I am planning a trip to Europe next year and have added Poland to my itinerary. Some countries I have visited and now a new country to add to the list!
10:26 Whenever I look at Wawel Cathedral I think of a fact that very few know about today. Johann Sebastian Bach was the court composer to King Augustus III Sas of Poland. The first two movements of Bach's Mass in B minor were performed in this cathedral on January 17, 1734 during Augustus' coronation. PS Some claim it was a different Bach piece. Personally, I think this is impossible, since the Mass in B minor is Bach's only Catholic work. I can't imagine that a Lutheran work could be performed at Wawel at that time.
Without a doubt, Gdansk. This is the first of your videos we saw. And, of course Krakow, Warsaw, Zakopane, and Wroclaw. Thank you for asking! Cheers!@@BenRobson123
In Kraków, in the Cloth Hall, there is a museum of Polish Art (paintings). Also in Krakow you can see Leonardo da Vinci's painting - Lady with an Ermine
Hey, we just booked a trip and then started look at what to do when we stumbled on your videos - these have been fantastic, thanks for sharing and great job at being informative
6:59 - at the moment you are standing next to the Czartoryski Museum (to your right), which houses one of the most beautiful female portraits ever - Leonardo Da Vinci's Lady with an Ermine. Rembrandt's Landscape with Samaritan is also there.
Tremendous video Ben, I went just over a year ago and did exactly what you did and it brings back lots of memories. It truly is a beautiful place to go and a must visit!
Hi Neil. I’d be happy to give some tips, although not sure I’d make a video solely on this. I don’t think I’m quite the expert, but if you had any questions feel free to message me on Instagram @benrobson1999. Or my business email is on my profile :)
Ben, you have a real skill with your video making; much better than some others who post on social media. I hope you dont stop making and maybe consider using your skills outside RU-vid . Drink offer still on if you are in toon sometime.
We did Krakow in 2014, doing everything and visiting a beautiful Thai restaurant that no longer exists. Really fab memories. Edit loved the salt mines..Did you pay extra for the church?
Fantastic! And you mean St Mary's Basilica in the main square? That is about £2-3 entry/ If you meant the chapel inside the Saltmines, that is just included in the normal tour :)
How long do you have? Both are beautiful cities,. It’s possible Gdańsk may be slightly quieter but it’s smaller, so may not be too much difference. Krakow is fantastic because you can also do Auschwitz and salt mines if you have the time
@@BenRobson123 It would be a long weekend trip. I never visited Poland and I don’t know why. I am very much into history and architecture along with art.
@@ugabugabagaga Like I said: IN POLAND we say german occupation. And about ruSSia - when it was soviet union, it wasnt ruSSia. Your question is invalid.
@@oakenarm701 So what was Soviet Union?80% was Russia and Russians were in charge.Your people in Katyn and in many other olaces were slaughtered by Russians.Am i wrong?
Your content is amazing and informative. Great camerawork and editing! I have recently started my own RU-vid channel and will look to your videos for inspiration to generate the best output. Do you use a drone? Best regards 😊
Thank you so much. glad you enjoyed. Good luck with your new channel :) And yes I use a drone, but unfortunately the conditions weren't great during my time in Krakow..!
Greetings from Dubrovnik. Great video, thank you. Have liked and subscribed. Can I please purchase you a woolly beanie and a thick pair of gloves…I could almost feel how numb your hands were. I know how frustrating it is to be trying to film AND keep warm.
