Thanks for this overview, it’s super hard to get any concrete walkthroughs for pitt so this is great.

Great video, thanks for doing this. I'm learning how to do this and ride mostly at Pitt. Will be working on these lines next weekend with N2

I liked this. As a novice rider...I learned a few things and will rewatch in April. Any other tracks you can voiceover?

Thank you for the voiceover. Some really good information in there. I am stuck in the 52s. I will definitely try some of those tips. Hoping to get into the 49s this year. You going to be at any N2 days this year? We will be there in April and Oct.

52's is a big plateau and we all get stuck there. If you have any GoPro footage, I'd be happy to take a look. If I had to guess, it's over slowing your corner entry in general. Lots of buddies run in the 50s-52s and catching them on the brakes is where I always make up the most time on them. But as you know, it's not quite that easy to "just brake deeper"!

@@jaottobotto, I do have a channel but not a lot is posted on there. Some stuff from last year but not all of it. Still would give you a good idea though. I definitely need to improve 1-6. You are absolutely right, over slowing. youtube.com/@littmotorsports7743

@@russlitt4213 it's funny because it's me in front of you at the :17 second mark before we got out on track: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m4FWk0OFx-I.html Overall seems fairly typical for a track day rider. IMHO, a R6 to R1 is worth about a 2-3 second difference (If you can do a 52 on a R6, that's a 49 on a R1, 52 on a R6 is a 55 on a R1, etc). Overslowing T1 a lot and not carrying the speed through T2. Really, really tip toeing coming out of the bowl, and tip toeing through the esses and real bad from T10-T12. Without trying to sound like I'm patting myself on the back, but this video is exactly what I mean talking about that area. Just kinda getting through it with no drive, and idling up the hill into T14. Losing a ton of time. The good news is that those are really easy places to improve, you can cut that time out with not a whole lot of work. You're about 50/50 on hitting your apexes. For a center mounted GoPro like mine and yours, I imagine a vertical line in the center of my dash and windscreen. For yours, I'd say roughly about centerline of where the gear indicator is center of the chassis. At the apex, that line should draw over the curbing. If it's not, you missed your apex. Pause a video at the apex and try to imagine the vertical line, hopefully that makes sense.
