A quick thing about comunication: In EU servers I swear that comunication is usually 0 to none. It's hard to find at least 1 teamate with open mic. Not only because there are a lot of languages in europe (and not everyone understands english), but also that everyone would have a diferent accent. And that makes it way harder, because even if they are talking to each others sometimes because of the accent they don't understand each other, It happened to me a lot of times.

I regret going through the comments section, my eyes have been exposed to too much copium Listen, you(talking to the low elo commenters) are correct in saying low elo players don't communicate properly. They might not listen if you ask them to do something. That doesn't stop you from attempting to coordinate with them. That doesn't stop you from ranking up. If you are below gold, I can guarantee that the problem is you, even if you would do well in plat lobbies. Stop complaining about what your teammates don't do and look for ways you can make yourself better. I'd recommend that you get comfortable taking fights (literally just take every fight you can and worry about the odds of the fights you're taking when you hit plat), always think about the potential danger you're exposing yourself to, always think during the pre-round about how you can combo your util and a teammate's util to make a play, and try to work on issues one at a time (this includes applying what I've just talked about) I should also mention that I've been there. I've been the one coping about my team in silver, and I sucked. (My first fps was paladins, and I was too young then to really actually improve, not to mention that I mostly played on console, so coming to Valorant the whole fps thing was still new to me and I placed iron and genuinely deserved it.) I've climbed from iron up to diamond, however, and now that I actually am better, I can understand how mistaken I was when I thought I understood the game back when I was silver. I don't think it's reasonable for almost anyone to say they properly understand the most effective way to play Valorant when they are plat and below (there's a reason that diamond is when aim begins to really matter, it's because at that point most people actually have a grasp on how the game is played.) It mostly doesn't matter until at least diamond anyway. TL:DR, don't be lazy(read the whole comment please) and cope about your team. Find proper ways to improve yourself instead. You can start by being more confident in taking gunfights and more confident in the way you communicate. Sena said nothing wrong in the video and you don't need to be informing him of how these things work in low elo Sorry if this comment comes across as rude or disrespectful. It's not meant as such, and I am open to argument, although I'll honestly only take it seriously if it is someone better than me, because I have yet to talk to a low elo player who truly understands the game (I have witnessed one person who watched giga loads of pro games and did serious studies and was gold but simply massively underrated because he hadn't played enough. He was able to coordinate his team incredibly well, probably with much better plans than I. He simply hadn't played enough to be able to aim.)

Unfortunately it is a standard scenario in Low Elo. Most players don't realise anything about proper coordination and strategy in Valorant. And due to really poor communication level and fear of toxic behaviours, it's rather not gonna change. Everyone is playing on their own, kind of "deathmatch and clutch" mode. You need to hard adapt to every game separately and squeeze impact just by yourself.

Ouch that initial pistol round.... Initiator communication is so important. Ok...he has a major awareness issue of threat angles. DMing making sure he's only exposed to 1 angle at a time would help him a ton.

I think the biggest problem I encountered while I was in silver was probably that half the team didn't understand comms or can't keep up with the strat.

My current rank is bronze 3 (formerly plat 1 lol), my goal is to hopefully not drop to iron when the ranks reset lol. I stopped really caring about rank, since I don't get much time to play anymore, and when I do I just have fun with it

I hate playing in my elo I'm silver 1-2 and I can tell I'm going to lose a game when I'm top frag, and it really sucks playing those games out because of the pressure to just stay alive and try to cover for my teams mistakes

I'm silver 2 and i always play duo, trio, or fullstack, so there's a much more comunication then playing solo. I'm making my way up to gold but it's pretty hard for me.

Just give a decent melee skin for being radiant (with animations) and probably player cards or cheap ass skins to reach a rank. It would increase the overall playtime of the players by a lot....

I dropped from plat 1 to silver 3 mainly because of my teammates , to support this statement i usually top frag on my smurf (plat2)

I have a problem in frankfurt servers. I always try to make the calls on certain plays. Cause I know them and see them. But when I tell them, people just start yelling to me that I need to shut up and that it is not VCT. Like, can I just try to win a game for once and get out of silver 3? I want to improve and play with people who I can learn from. But people find me annoying for talking to them and me asking them to use there utilities. It has made it for me so that I just stopped talking and mute people. Not because all people are bad. But there are allot who just like to scream in my ears and throw my important games. I want to improve myself to a point where I can just win every single fight. Just because I am better. But this doesn’t really help.

Giving that much stuff to a low elo player is completely useless. I think to actually improve them tell them to improve on most common mistake. Scaling in map comes naturally. Strategy and teamplay is also vast topic first atleast make them learn how to fight with good technique. Most low elo insta crouch spray and die like potatoes (APAC). I think first make them ready to how to fight as there will be scenerio you have to fight and even they have massive gamesense. They need atleast some level of mechanics(not raw aim, it includes movement, technique, passive aim)

I climbed to gold 3 by instalocking smokes (usually omen or brim, sometimes viper) to avoid teammates being as toxic to me. Other than that i mainly focused on improving my gunfights and general gamesense

all this communication bs doesnt happen in ranked , its very rare when you solo. you need to be able to play your agent selfishly or its a useless agent

I genuinely think low elo players just need to work on there aim I consistently win my 1 on 1 aim duels in those elos before I even learned about team synergy

I was hardstuck bronze 1 for like 8 months but a few days ago i decided i was done just playing fill and having our duelists drop like 6 kills. I started locking in reyna every time, and i've gone from low bronze 1 to now being 2 games away from silver. I've dropped 20+ kills in all but 2 games that i've played in the past 4 days. My mmr was spiking a lot, and i actually got put in a lobby that the average rank was gold 1, and i still went 20/19 as a bronze. I'm hoping for silver this act, but i want gold soon.

so where do i start?.. i dont wanna flame you but your guide was VERY bad especially for silvers. you said at the start that he doesnt communicate with his team and while that is true its not impossible but espacially in lower ranks very hard because even if your teammates talk its often hard to trust them or time it correctly. I also think a lot of silvers dont 100 percent understand the initiator role so i would have told him that its not a good role to main in low elo (not sure if he does main him) but that point i kind of understand. Telling him to be more aware is like the worst tip you can give it tells that silver player literally nothing you have to tell them how to improve it for example you could have told him to go in a deathmatch or private game and learn checking all corners so he gets a feel for it. but the biggest thing is that these tipps are something to get better with but in silver people dont understand fundamentals you cant say that you dont like their a split because reyna is alone and then you should have used utility there and satchel in here your not coaching a pro team they are silvers give them some stuff like how to peek an angle or how to play anchor. those would be good tips to rank up from. I really dont want to send out negative energy but that really annoyed me

I am at iron 3 i may not have any aim but i am not that hell as bad as this this guy in game sense or util usage. I think i am 3 X times better than him My main drawback is with low Fps and My terrible aim at mid range

As a brand new level 13 player, who can't even que ranked yet, if this is how silvers play, I'm probably going to be placed gold or high silver as a complete beginner. When he didn't even clear C Link and chucked his back to it like it didn't exist as an angle he should've died he's lucky no one was their that's awful game sense. His cross hair placement is non existent he has to try and flick/Microadjust meanwhile most players will have him basically lined up head level without major mouse movements just by moving/Peeking with better cross hair placement. Hope this guy improves.

2:24 This is a great play, however, you have to watch the pre-round for communication on this play and see if everyone agrees before executing. Since we didn't see the pre-round, who knows if this is his fault or not. Also cutting the noise from the gameplay sucks for VoD review. There's not a ton of times where he misplayed with his util. 10:24 awareness comes with gameplay. You couldn't even give guidelines to fixing those issues? You just told him? WTF? No "go into a private match to find util combos you like" or "maybe open up a private match on every map and look for places to play in to catch people off guard, and look for angles you could die from when peeking or holding a common angle". NONE OF THAT? WHY???? Overall, this video is NOT why you are stuck in Silver. A routine and a bit more theorizing with utility will bring you far very easily. 2/10 VoD Review.

If you have anything running other than Valorant, that's why you're stuck in low ranks. Before you play competitive, learn how to optimize. Jesus, Razer literally does it for you.
