Forget about Nairobi I think if people in Kisumu and Mombasa begin to take urban planning seriously like creating walkable spaces etc....these cities will challenge the capital

Very nice tour of bamburi mambo. You are doing great work. Whenever i come to mombasa, i only walk along the beaches. You are helping us to know other interesting places and estates. Thank you.
Thankyou for taking me through my neighborhood growing up … it wud have been nice if you wud have been allowed to go inside vescon.. that was home … I loved loved the memory lane ….
It does not matter what your buildings look like. Cleanliness is everything for every tourist. When they travel the first thing they want to see is how clean is the area. Cleanliness is the first eye oppenner of the reflection of a society and culture. I may not understand your culture but cleanliness tells me everything of what you value. Cleanliness is a reflection of personal health, hygiene, food, accomodation.
@@daviddavis7959 They need to have garbage collectors on site that collect the bottles that are on the side of the road;being a coastal city, the sandy dust will be eminent.Cleanliness begins at home, personal hygiene is an individual responsibility;you need to brush your teeth 2x a day;shower 2x a day;change your bed sheets 2x per week, eat fruits, water and have a balanced diet always.NO society is perfect. This is a RESIDENTIAL area.visit the hotel resorts n you will be mesmerised.
The county government is so corrupt they only give garbage tenders to the governor's family and friends I live in Bamburi and love it here. It's a great place to live. The video even shows where my house and my father in law house is. Great video and well done.
Saying the local council etc only gives the contract to family etc is a poor excuse, even though it does happen. Have pride in your own area, do not litter. Too many Kenyans will litter wherever they stand.
Thanks man what i can say is am not that perfect too i watch others and i tell them the same things you tell me but we are all in a class trying to teach ourselves to be better but pushing on and never give up i tell myslef that and i push on bro and thats it. I will check you channel send me you link and i will support you by subscribing to your channel
Thanks bro for this bamburi vid. The trees make it beautiful. Next time take a close shot at those tall treen trees. They are called Ashok. Thats what needs to be planted all over Nairobi in the estates and along the highways and roads.
This amazing Iam planning to come to mombasa to attend word exploition conference at bamburi jcc it will be my first time in mombasa atleast now i know where to start
Usijali bro ukimaliza studies come home huku mambo yanazidi kuwa freshy manze but good luck on your studies God be with you akubless ufaulu kwa masomo yako bro.
This is a very nice video bamburi is a good area but it's usually safe in bamburi mtambo as you said there is where I will rather live.thanks for sharing keep it up
Am an old folk who was born and brought up in the area Tuntil 1960s.Just to correct the names of the current estates: 1.To start with the largest estate KIEMBENI estate --this place is the really BAMBURI(original known as BUMBURI) 2.The now called famous BAMBURI madukani where you have matatu stage;junction of old Malindi Road towards "Kiembeni"estate and Utange;the other side back to Mtopanga-Kisauni to Town across to the famous Mtamboni road.Anyway that is the short history of area. However I appreciate the quick development going on there.Welldone to the gentleman who made the video, fantastic view of my lovely "ushago" Bumburi and am proud to have come from there and to see the excellent changes.👍
I have been living in Bamburi Mtambo for a while now. Invested too and i dont feel like shifting to Town coz of its vibe. Bamburi Mtambo is growing day by day in double digits and full of entertainments i.e Many Clubs and near the beach area (PIRATES )
@@denniswithlenswalks Exactly and thanks for your Video . U are doing a nice job and creating awarrenes to others who have never been to Bamburi Mtambo. This has made the people of Bamburi as a whole proud
Thanks you too, unakaribishwa sana Mombasa, rent itadepend unataka nyumba siza gani, kuna bedsitters, one bedroom,2 bedroom,4 bedroom hata nyumba nzima utapata ya kuuzwa so inadepend.
its a nice hub for business, but for living...there are better places.kuna some nice places to live in mtambo and there's some places you definitely want to avoid especially if you want a peaceful quiet life. first of all hio junction ya bamburi kisausi na bamburi mtando its usually hell on earth in the evening. there's people selling chicken/chips/fish right on the roadside, plus the matatus turning there plus the pedestrians plus trucks. its a hot mess that corner was never meant to be a matatu stage and i always thought it needed traffic lights honestly. then hio steet from naivas going towards bamburi cement imekua red light district honestly. its like its giving mtwapa competition in that sector. sometimes in the night clubs play music so loud ukiwa njia ya bamburi utange you can hear it. i feel sorry for anyone that has their house on that street. vescon estate used to be a good place to stay...maybe it still is .there's a supermarket in bamburi, there's kwft bank,
Also i have a big... big question about Mombasa modern housing!!! Why all those "jails" till the last floor balcony of an apartment block??? It looks so ugly & sad, but is that has to do about of any security rule???
It's nice but ur video be clear,we can't see well, otherwise it's really great coz I stayed long time ago in bambuli but bburi mtambo was totally no house ,only the cement bamburi cement company was there.. Great investment ,I love that congratulations 👌👌💪💪💪😅😅😂♥️👉👉👉💃💃💃🏬
Thanks so much dear rent huku inadepend but; -One bedroom range from 15000/= -begsitter range from 8000/= -singleroom range from 4000/= But it depend which part of bamburi you will get the house.
Look at those Ahsok trees planted in a residential area. I keep telling the NMS why not plant these tall green looking trees all over nairobi. I mean is this so difficult to figure out. All our resiential estates and roads need to be covered with these trees. They grow tall, straight and look evergreen even in dry times.
I will be very glad,do you have a youtube channel, send me the name so that i can subscribe and check it out as soon as possible, will be waiting my dear ok.
I thought for a lot of years that Bamburi was the industrial part of Mombasa!!! I don't know why!!! By the way, the word that pronunced as "baburi", not "bamburi", in modern greek language means anything black small flying insect... hahahha!!! As for your description about the blocks as... beatifull!!! The same word were saying my ancestors in the 60's & the 70's/80's about the new built blocks in Athens, Thessaloniki & even in the big islands and today we are crying about the uglyness of our cities... but it's too late!!! Africa must turn into it's local architecture styles and Swahili coast has it's own traditional historical beautiful architecture!!! Lamu is a traditional swahili paradise!!!
I was thinking the same......its becoming more like Nairobi's middle class estates. On the good side I'm thinking someone with a waste management company would really prosper here.
