I planted 4 different varieties in my garden and the rattlesnake beans was one of the ones I chose at random before watching or doing any research on RU-vid. Rattlesnake Beans are the clear winner this year. I’m still going to try a couple more variety’s but I think it will be hard to beat the Rattlesnake Bean soon it will be October where I am and I’m still getting beans from when I planted these beans back in May we are talking 6 months of productivity 👍👍👍
Mine are doing pretty good this year. First grow in 7 years. From 7 year old beans. I used to grow them every year, but took a break for awhile. I grow mine up about 7 foot, then over the pathway. Pick them from below. I call it "The Hall of Beans". Will be doing my 6th pick in a couple of days. I have some pics on my channel if anyone cares.
I always look forward to growing these !!! They give such a high yield they are also called preacher beans because they give you something to preach about just like the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Blessings today and happy gardening ! 🌵🌺🙌
Have you eaten any as dried beans? If so how were they? I am growing them this year. I have picked twice . I canned 7 pints 3 quarts and froze 7 quarts.
We grew Kentucky Wonder pole beans last year (2018), and we were harvesting a full walmart sack every week until frost. We're going to grow rattlesnake beans this year.
