Hi.. @GurpreetinGermany Few facts: I got my VISA within 2 weeks of time.. so if all documents are correct it won't take time. Just to let everyone know.. BLOCKED ACCOUNT is not required for Opportunity Card.. Also, if you have already started applying for jobs in Germany that's an additional point.. And you should be at least able to introduce yourself in German..

A minimum of €1,027 per month in Blocked Account is required according the Opportunity Card website, and the visa period is not less than 12 months. This fund is a prove for your living expenses while searching for a job. When you get a Job anytime you will be able to withdraw your balance. If you use your home country bank statement they will not have a full confidence in your application, because they know you can borrow that money for the visa purpose, if your visa approved you'll still have to prove you have required balance in your bank account at your point of entry or you face a deportation.

Other saving accounts of my country i cant show any other bank balance? 2. What is the process of getting blocked money back if visa rejects? 3. Hi Gurpreet. Actually my interview has been done 1 week prior in the Embassy and they kept my passport. I am waiting for their call. But I have shown them my saving account because I have applied for blocked account and did not get the confirmation against blocked account.

@@alfredjohnson4911 yes they asked me do you know German I said yes then they wanted me to introduce in German.. total experience letter and salary slip of 6 month. Reason to motivate and university letter that my degree is regular and I took classes in the college

I am 2019 graduate and was looking for government job till 2021. And started a real job in an IT company in March 2022. But last year in mid 2023 I have to quit my job due to health reasons. Since then i am unemployed. So all in all , i just have 1.5 years of real work experience. Will it create any problem in opportunity card if i go with the option 1. Or should i fill my 2020-2021 gap with a fake work experience. But the only thing is I won't be having salary slip for that work experience, just the work ex. certificate. But i have all documents for the last IT company that i worked with. Can you please clear my this confusion/dilemma.

Hello Gurpreet, I'm from Mumbai and I've got my masters degree from a German recognised college on anabin and wanted to understand that for the Opportunity Card, do we need educational transcripts or the certificates and marksheets would be good enough and if yes then should we be doing Apostille Attestation on the documents, personal, educational and professional in order to make the file strong. I have the documents and all ready just needed some assistance with this thanks. Your videos are really very helpful 😊

The family must submit a Declaration of Commitment (Verpflichtungserklärung) to a Foreigners Authority in Germany. This declaration obliges the inviter to guarantee the financial support of the visa applicant during their stay in Germany.

It's not true, there is no exception wherever you are applying your visa. As of July 2024, You must have a minimum of €12,324 in your Block account, this is like 90% of your visa approval chance. Don't fall for agent rush.

If your qualification is from distance education UG & PG, it is mandatory to get "Statement of comparability" letter from ZAB, which is a maximum of 3 months process. Go for it. Without that, they will not issue you the opportunity in your case.

@@aswanibhupathi8693 ok. I can understand it. If you really want to go Germany and having distance education apply for ZAB comparability statement for all distance education. Interestingly I want to share you that ZAB are currently also not recognizing few distance education for particular years. Go and apply for ZAB statement for all distance education (Graduation & PG). If in case you will get your appointment before ZAB evaluation, I would like to request don't go for the appointment and don't submit your application. Instead of cancel it and book new appointment again until you will not get ZAB document. Above is for If you are applying for option 1. You can ignore option 1 and go for option 2 but that is more complex. Option 2 is point based and again you have to do lots of stuffs to get good point. Even again you have to evaluate your experience via recognization process (that is other organization of Germany also has India office for this). For distance (mostly other than IGNOU) they are passing all applicants for ZAB evaluation. Without comparability letter they will not issue opportunity card visa. Warning: still if you submit your documents without ZAB then you will face many challenges and unexpected delay of visa status. In last 2 months, my many friends going through this opportunity card application process. If you understand these items well and prepare accordingly you will get your visa stamp without any hassle. It's quite very simple. Let me know if you need any information on it.
