All he had to do was go into Underworld Goddess while using Avramax as material. A card that Blackwings usually have no issue in summoning due to their field swarming.

They probably don't run it because Simoon locks them into Dark monsters And in spite of her being an *Underworld* Goddess, she's a Light monster This would not have been an issue here, we never see him activating Simoon and multiple turns pass, but it would make some amount of sense

Yes but you have to go under assumption that people who use meta decks have the brain cells to think about these things, let alone outside the box should the meta fail them. Its honestly my pet peeve with Master Duel and why I prefer to watch the vids from this channel and some of the other replay edit channels: The meta and/or players who can't read good are a real ball buster.

Avramax really is a cool dude. Sure, he can't end a duel as fast as Accesscode, but this doesn't matter when the opponent has no out (which is the case for a lot of random ladder decks).

Yeh, for the same reason I have a backup Longirisu on my Witchcrafter and Myutant decks, and a Calvary on my paleozoic one. It's kinda annoying to bypass the cool dude, Specially since it's normally summoned with I.P. for more cancer.

The editing on these videos is genuinely great. As someone who consumes Yugioh pretty casually, only really playing with a few rogue decks, having all the important effects clearly highlighted is a breath of fresh air. Hats off to you good sir, and a sub as well.

Other comments mentioned using Kalut on a Normal Summoned Blackwing monster with 1600+ ATK against Avramax; there is another method. Instead of using the 2nd Raikiri, they could have Summoned the original Blackwing Armor Master to reduce Avramax to 0 ATK. Ironically, Full Armor Master cannot counter Avramax while the original Armor Master is a great counter for Avramax.

no full armor master could have destroyed it during the endphase, you keep forgeting it has 3 more effects aside from being uneffected, it can take control, and destroy all cards with wedge counter

@@badaudiogp4412 Master isn't affected by card effects, so if 2 cards with that effect go at eachother, it's as if that effect doesn't exist. As you could see, it placed the counter on Avramax successfully. So it could have taken control over it in his last turn, but oh well :/

@@badaudiogp4412 Placing the counter also targets the monster, since the effect isn't "place counters on open monsters" for example, but it is specific to the monster which activated an effect beforehand. I main blackwings and it has always worked like that, once a counter landed on an enemy monster, it is mine.

MKC Avramax is one of my favorite boss monsters. It has won me many duels alone because my opponents had no card to remove or negate him without targeting/destroying. It's funny when they think his effect is only once per battle phase and attack twice and take 6K damage lol.

Numeron is like the arch-nemesis of Avramax (with or without Masquerena) they run kaijus, Lava Golem and can easily summon the Goddess with their damn Numerons, that aside lots deck cannot deal with that monster love that card.

I love how the Blackwing player had an out, Avramax only works on Special Summoned monsters, so just normal summon a monster and use a Kalut (or two) to put it over Avramax, since at the end it is shown he plays Kalut and I imagine if he plays Kalut he'll play it at 2 or 3 not 1.

Hell, any normal summoned monster equipped with Moon mirror shield can beat it Despite that, he's one of my favorite links, I put our Accesscode for him cause how handy he has been (specially if paired with Crusadia power or Gatchiri lingering effect)

Blackwings have a couple outs for this, such as Kalut played on a normal summon, or Blackwing Armor Master, or Sirocco the Dawn on a normal summon.
