'Fun" - cough2 endless tv puzzles - cough2 sponge enemies even with good music set - cough2 super duper mundane side quest filled with 90% yapping - cough2 misleading promotion 100 pulls that actually is juat standard pulls (literal scam) - cough2 combat mechanics are super dumb, you can literally only stand there and press space bar when chaching sound comes out. anyone trying to debate- i am at level 31 interconnect now. i also judge this game based on others like genshin, honkai, elden, gta, rdr, outward, and like dozens of more open world 'combat games'. the only thing thats keeping me is the art style and animation.

RDR2 is the superior open world with it's worldbuilding and realism, doesn't mean that it's better than Genshin because you dont have any QTE there. You don't compare dark souls with honkai 3rd because the mechanics have a dodge system, everything have it's own charm and people should shut the hell up when they compare 2 games that are not even remotely close to others.
Weve known for a while that Hoyo are pop culture geeks but they have to find ways to sneak the references into their game (constraint by lore) but now they can go bat shjt crazy lol
Combat is what draws me in minus the fact im simping for anby /lucy/ grace. The fast paced combat is pretty enjoyable and parrying an enemy never felt this satisfying.
tbh wuthering is super clanky all that carries it is some character designs else all is shit and its the other way around for genshin, every thing is super smooth and well placed and designed but 5* dont look like 5*

Honestly, I don’t get the hate some people have for this game. I’ve been enjoying it a lot (the Gacha could use a bit of work but it’s still fair compared to most others, though the my could give us bigger currency rewards). Like some complain about the TVs, but I like them. It makes me feel like I’m playing one of those overhead dungeon games. Not only that, ZZZ has Legally Distinct Gawr Gura! And the next banner will be an awesome police woman! (You get to play a trial version of her eventually in the story). I’d say Hoyo knows what they are doing here.

Mostly because as far as I know, you can't reset a PS5 account like a PC one... But hey, only 100 more draws before I hit the 300 mark to get the cat!

Carried by Hoyoverse branding. Otherwise, it'll be less. Only thing unique about this game are the Frequent Cutscenes, Walkable Hub world and comic book style story telling. Combat gameplay is inferior to games like Aether Gazer and Punishing Gray Raven whose story is told in a Visual Novel Fashion. Nuff said.
It would be great if that 50M download was also the active playercount. Also you could see a lot of reviews and comparisons here in YT why they don't like ZZZ. Based on the amount I've seen it was like it is second to the most hated Mihoyo game, first is Genshin ofcourse. Even dead people hate that game, and now Wuthering Waves was like a reality check to Genshin cuz it is the most appropiate game to compare to and not their own other games that had different game genre.

When ZZZ was first announced, the development team made it clear they are making ZZZ to be a Old School Dungeon Crawler with Action combat as their battle encounters instead of Turn Base Combat. Somewhere close to old school dungeon crawlers from the 80s and 90s such as Persona 1 and older Shin Megami Tensei games before they went full 3D which is why they mentioned they are fans of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei series. However, the advetisement team really messed up by choosing to advertising this game more as a Action combat game instead of their intended plan to make this game a old school dungeon crawler game. Resulting in the reaction we have now where players who are more or only into Action combat games with open world or large instance open world games play this game and obviously will dislike it because it is not to their preference instead of attracting players who will actually enjoy or find the old school dungeon crawling just fine.
