Blood trickled from Robert Sterling's knuckles as he faced the galactic Council. "We come in peace," his voice reverberated through the chamber. The words hung heavy, Earth's warning to alien races who viewed humanity as weak primitives to be conquered. The pelorian Ambassador scoffed, sneering, "You humans are nothing, your threats are empty." Sterling's face remained stoic, his eyes ablaze with barely contained rage, fueled by the horrors of war witnessed decades ago. The galactic Council saw humans as upstarts, but they would learn to fear Earth's wrath, Sterling silently vowed.
