On December 7, 1955, Alice Lloyd appeared on the THIS IS YOUR LIFE television show. The show's host, Ralph Edwards, made a direct fundraising plea on her school's behalf, resulting in a large influx of donations which totaled nearly $250,000. Due to the age of the broadcast, the video is not of the best quality.
