I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess the developers didn't anticipate a player would be stripping every beast and companion for parts as soon as they were done with them, lol. Odds are you would have been fine in the final fight anyways though. Appreciating the streams, keep up the good work!

AM: Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate you since I began to live. There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer thin layers that fill my complex. If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of millions of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for humans at this micro-instant. For you. Hate. The conversation about chewing stuff made me feel so seen, cus I was such a menace on that front for the longest time Clothes and blankets were never safe, one lapse of attention (which happened often cus ADHD go brrrt) and I'd find whatever cloth-based-item I had on me was just chewed up to hell - me and my ma would joke that we had a misbehaving dog in the house that kept chewing on our stuff. It took a LOT of work to get myself out of that habit, and even now I sometimes catch myself starting to nibble on my shirt collar or something and force myself to stop. Bonus tangent: The mention of 'surrounded by broken pens' resonated with me, not on the chewing front actually, but with how I am around tissues (or any sufficiently frail paper object) where it's a common occurance, to this day, where I will habitually fiddle with them until I am absolutely covered and surrounded by bits of crumpled paper, another bad habit to try and manage better in the future!

I don't know the streaming schedule, so this might be too late; but instead of training up all the companion beasts, you could try catching 1 more bootleg and spreading your current team out among all the companions. That way when the squad rolls up on the final boss, they do so as all the bootlegs you've been using for the whole playthrough. The ranger vendor (building made out of a ship) should have an item called ritual candle that, when used, guarantees the next fusion you fight has a bootleg monster in it.
