I found this hidden gem in the heart of south London.
This Jamaican eatery is based in Brixton from her house and she serve some real authentic Jamaican food.
Foods cooked fresh daily and you can also dine in her house.
Really enjoyed the experience and the hospitality was top tier.
I highly recommend her oxtail 😋

I've been eating from her for over 7 years as I work in the area. Maureen is an institution, everybody has eaten from her and is a lot better then any food shop far and near. The lady needs recognition for services to her community, really nice to see her get the recognition she deserves as this is the third food blogger to interview her. love me some oxtail. nice to see proper way of cooking rice and dark meat chicken thighs for the jerk chicken. My go to is usually goat roti when I'm back home in Toronto.

To be honest I've not eating or a fan of takeaways but it's cool to go and enjoy our carribean food once in a while one problem for me I don't know where to find them in London or Brixton which is sad for me
