Japanese players a different breed. I used to think I was pretty alright in Tekken, but after taking a trip to Japan last year and hitting the arcades there I was dumpered for like 4 hours straight. I still wake up screaming at night sometimes.
@@mydogeatspuke Let alone using Tekken mechanics, it looks like you are not a player to begin with or so noob you don’t know how Tekken gameplay works.
That missed input at the end. She was trying to finish her combo with F F4, 3+4, 4 BUT INTEAD she did F4 and had to commit to the follow up 4 (double). Sad to see it.
The tournament I went to was combo breaker last year and he did this for what seemed like a good 2 hours or so. Just sat down and played anyone, what a cool guy! I wonder if he does this at every single one.
Casuals with everyone is honestly the winners mindset. You can learn something from everyone no matter the skill level or gap and especially at majors its a chance to get sets in with players you dont get to play often or have never played before
@@berzerkov4358100% agreed, there's certainly a fine line where on one side it'd definitely good to hold back. For Arslan, that line was crossed when she hit that sick low parry on round 3 in the first set haha 😅
I was in Pakistan and they literally have PlayStation consoles at the malls where people can pay a small fee to play Tekken on it (and fifa and probably other games but Tekken mainly). It’s a Tekken crazy country. Can’t wait to see what kind of crazy combos they can pull off once 8 comes out.
I'm honestly not surprised. Japan has a lot of skilled players. Going there to challenge someone is like going to the highest room in the tower where everyone can use Nen in Hunter x Hunter.
We all have to understand that having more female reps in tournaments like this would be so sick that it's not just males that play fighting games, it's for everyone.
It's because most if not all of the world's best players are mostly guys. I also think that girls interested in Fighting Games Competitive isn't really that common. I agree that it would be cool to see more of them, but that's pretty much it
Does anyone genuinely not understand that girls also play video games though? You'd need to be really detached from the real world to actually believe that they don't. Or 12.
EVO should do a Promotion where you can "Play with the Greats" or have a match with participating players (Just a match ). AND they should give back to players like Arslan for doing that work.
@@jupiterapollo4985 I like how u guys so jealous of them. Nice guy social act is good. Ppl say they are 2 faced for that. 2 faced for what? For being respectful to ppl they dont like even. That is called being respectful something the west doesnt have anymore
@@fireitup3674 No one said it was bad per se? It's just a lot of people in the west have this perception that that "nice guy" act is some how authentic. But of course its not! There culture is all about hospitality and respecting your superiors(to a fault). But people should never get hospitality confused with true authentic feelings. And thats why with Japanese people in particular its hard to know where you truly stand, because they will act that hospitable way towards your face, but hate or talk about you behind your back.
@@fireitup3674 its not jealousy lol. Its very known there and u would know it if u live there enough. Even ur close japanese friends will tell u about it. Japanese will never tell a single bad thing about in front of ur face unless they are u boss and u r an employee.
The cameraman don't need to say that bcs it's too weird when you called a professional player a pro? Like he rules the e_sports and he was like "very good you're a pro player"
