This Japanese Upgrade Is CRAZY 

I don't think the Jeanne d'Arc player is very experienced in the Late Imperial. Though they switched to pressuring with the threat of a sacred site victory, and using a lot more siege eventually, so I guess they are learning quickly. Still painful seeing them constantly make knights into such a heavy spears composition from the opponent. Though, if they looped around to attack the ranged units in the back, they would have not been that bad. Though probably worse than using horsemen for the same role. Also, no use of Red Palace emplacement town centres probably necessitates they don't know the meta for Late Imperial.

Really thought salami had that. Sooo close

One thing you missed during the fight at 24:38 was that salami sent his mounted samurai over to the villagers on gold to the south and absolutely farmed them. He got 24 villager kills and almost got the tc aswell which would have been some really solid damage.
