I knew this looked familiar!! This is Randers Regnskov, in Denmark! :) It's an amazing copy of it, but please do give Randers Regnskov the recognition where it is deserved! They are an amazing Zoo with incredible enclosures for their animals, as well as great conservation programs.
I thought I was the only one thinking that it looked pretty much the same as Randers Regnskov in denmark. But it's so cool and pretty! Love it very much❤
I’d love to see an ocean pack, where we could have things like octopus, reef fish species, manta rays, sea turtles etc. I think that would be super neat to have a sort of aquarium section in our zoos. A whole aquatic game doesn’t sound as good, but little aquariums within our planet zoos would be everything 😅 also this zoo is INCREDIBLE my goodness. It’s so inspiring! ❤
@@DeLadysigner I would love it, but with how severely the game lags already I just don't think it's possible as a PZ expansion... I think it'd be most likely if they do a PZ2, when hopefully the engine doesn't only utilize a single core. I could see them doing a PlanetOcean in between PZ and a PZ2, and I think they could do a lot with it. Implement (ethical!) animal shows, maybe include cetaceans in a sort of rescue system (as opposed to a 'market', if they want to stick with the ethical, conservation message), improve on the exhibit system so that they feel more alive and customizable, etc. I think you're underestimating the diversity in the ocean! There is just as much diversity in species and biomes underwater as there are on land. Everything from dark abysmal depths where no light reaches and life crowds around hydrothermal vents for warmth and sustenance and some animals put on a psychedelic light show every night to attract mates and hunt, to beautiful coral reefs that practically explode with vibrant colors, to the open oceans hundreds of miles from land in every direction surrounded by an endless blue. Everything from the tropical seas of the Caribbean to the frigid waters of the arctic. From tiny little box jellies the size of your thumbnail to 40ft long basking sharks (and the itty-bitty jellies are the far more deadly of the two!). Even coral and anemones are animals. And that's not even including freshwater where you have everything from raging rivers to placid lakes, from alkaline to acidic conditions. And Idk if it's a US thing or it's a normal aquarium-thing everywhere, but at least here aquariums frequently have aviaries as well. They'll usually have penguins, flying seabirds (terns, gulls, boobies [the bird, lol]), and parrots. So it could be where they first implement aviaries as well.
Yep, I agree, aquarium with fish, sharks, whales, dolphins and birds should be part of planet zoo not a separate game, maybe a dlc, but i think we can expect this for planet zoo 2…..and this zoo is amazing, well done
I got Planet Zoo about 2 months ago now, I immediately decided on recreating a childhood movie as a city zoo. I've been working on bringing that idea to life since having the game and have already put almost 300 hrs in. I'm hoping i'll be able to finish it before too long because i definitely want to send it to you to tour! My clue on what movie? It's a children's movie that came out in 1992. I'm prolly only 40% of the way finished but i'm really excited. Sometimes i think that people will be disappointed because I am a new builder, So i feel there will be a lot of things I'll look back on and think "i can do that better.." but i'm finding ways to supplement my short comings with creativity. And for it being my first Zoo, i'm really proud. :D
@@DeLadysigner you've inspired me so much when i have gotten stumped on things and i really appreciate all the hard work you put into your channel and your tutorials. Thank you! I'm determined to finish it haha. :D
@@harshadmahajan8765 you will i promise! I've been working on it in small bits every night and i haven't given up yet haha. :D thank you so much for the encouragement!
BRUH! This is so realistic! I live right next to the real one, and that entrance is spot on. Like to every stone! Even the pathway is correct to how it was built in real! Only difference is the inside, but all the dome entrances are correctly placed :D Also he definitely meant for it to be flying bats, as the real one has free roaming Grey-headed Flying-foxes. also those random bamboo sticks are in real life a path for the Leaf cutter Ants :D
Ive checked this zoo out too its amazing also Tuesday its my birthday and how are you DeLady? I gotta get more into the tropical vibes in planet zoo!!!
"Practice makes perfect" - genuinely. It does. Over the years my building skills have improved without me even realizing it, until I compared my first Zoo build to my newer ones. We aren't all going to be Soren-level builders and that's no reason to stop playing this game or to give up hope of building a zoo you can be proud of. Keep playing the game and enjoying your own zoos, and use people like Soren and DeLady for *inspiration.* Don't get discouraged just because other people are skilled builders! We all started somewhere, you know!
Buffalo grass, bluestem grass and yorkshire fog grass are my go to, and i spam it way to much but i cant help it. everything looks soo much better with it. and it annoys me that frontier made animals HATE long grass. how come a tiger that evolved its entire look to hide in long grass dont like to have much long grass? it makes no sense. i wish they merged long grass and regular grass into a the same cagegory of just grass, just as it is with soil and heavy soil for example. also wish they added some really tall grass, like grass that is 50-100cm tall that i can place out.
This is amazing! Must have taken years to craft this! Was it inspired by Randers Regnskov in Denmark? Even the parking lot made me wanna visit again :D
I'm honestly surprised i DONT feel discouraged by this zoo. ive been planning to post some zoo build videos and i thought for sure this zoo would make me back down some just from its sheer level of detail. whoever made this did an amazing job!!
Amazing work, i wonder if so many assets density could still run ok on a ps5.. Next the devs could do a big city aquarium building management game. Imagine the variety of fish, mammals, invertebrates, corals etc you could mix, and set-up the bottom, and algae. You could have different aquatic biodomes like arctic ocean, tropical ocean, fresh-water lakes, african deep lakes like tanganika, south american river with piranhas, caimans, deep sea life type of setup, etc, specific requirements for water etc, Also, maybe a prehistoric mammals with the different species of prehistoric humans, making fire, etc idk..
This zoo is absolutely amazing. There are various indoor jungles and similar exhibits for different biomes in various zoos around the world, a few I can name off the top of my head, there is the Lied Jungle at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium in Nebraska in the United States. The Rainforest at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo in Ohio in the United States, Tropic World at the Brookfield Zoo in Illinois in the United States. I also totally agree with your opinion on Planet Aquarium, I personally wouldn't enjoy it as much as I enjoy Planet Zoo, so an Aquarium Expansion would be fantastic with a variety of freshwater and saltwater species of fish, crustacean, cephalopod (octopus, squid, cuttlefish), jellyfish, sharks, stingrays, maybe not cetaceans, but various freshwater like Arapaima, Electric Eels, Piranhas and River Stingrays.
I like to building a Huge Tropical Rainforest Dome🌴🌺 with animals from Asia🐅 and Oceania🦘: Asian Small-Clawed Otter with Proboscis Monkey, Bengal Tiger, Bornean Orangutan with Siamang, Clouded Leopard, Malayan Tapir, Matschie's Tree Kangaroo, Saltwater Crocodile, Southern Cassowary, Sun Bear with Binturong Tasmanian Devil Water Buffalo.
"I've always wanted to do something like this, but now I feel like I shouldn't even do it." That's the backside of inspiration lol, double-edged sometimes
@@DeLadysigner only says it cause ive been there quite a few times and they basically Got their hyenas not very long ago wich makes this feel a lot like Randers regnskov i could of cause be wrong but im very very positive that im right
hi, I have a question I am hoping you can answer for me ... I have searched for it but nothing I find covers it. When I cntrl x something like a fence piece.. it makes 3 or 4 copies in the same place. so if i hit x to move it there are a few on top of each other. Do you know what I am doing wrong? It is very frustrating to have to go through the objects and click delete the extras
I’ve always loved rainforest domes and would love to see a zoo like this irl. The closest you could get is the monsoon forest in Chester Zoo. I went there last year and it was great.
Hey deladysigner was wondering if you could make a tutorial for how to fix bugs related to the path system i have a bug where it Think flat terrain is the opposite of flat and i cant find any kind of videos on how to fix it
I honestly dont dare to say.. maybe just remove a few pieces of path, smooth it with the terraforming tool and try again? or then place the paths with the flattening tool in the path options? I never have this bug myself.. so its pretty hard for me to make a video about something I dont have so can't even test to fix it.. haha..
Actually there is a Zoo like this, in the netherlands, Arnhem. Called Burgers Zoo. There is a Dome like structure, with Jungle/Desert Biom and an Aquarium in it. Very fascinating!!!
Ive been there.. but that doesnt look at all to what we saw here 😅 These domes are actually inspired and a lot of it recreated of a zoo in Denmark.. forgot the name just now, but many people already commented about it 😘
Its called Randers Regnskov its located in the town Randers in Denmark. We visit every time during our hollidays in Denmark. Its our Must go Place there.
