If Jokic somehow falls apart in 2-3 seasons and can’t play anymore, he will be around top 25 all time. If he has a normal (for the level he has established) career arc, then he’s a top 10 player of all time. He will very likely win a title in the next few seasons. The Nuggets just need some injury luck and for the defense around him to reach a “good” level. When the playoffs come around and Jokic’s minutes crank up into the high 30s low 40s-maybe even 42-44 in huge games, Denver will be HARD to beat. It’s really only been non Jokic minutes & injuries that have sunk the Nuggets title hopes the last few seasons. This year should be different.

Neither one is leaving his current situation, and it would be LITERALLY impossible to trade enough stuff for either player. 5 unprotected first round picks, Aaron Gordon, Jamaal Murray, MPJ, and Bones wouldn’t even enough to get the Mavs to listen. This is Yugoslavian school of basketball. Very pass first oriented and focused on getting the fundamentals of the game down to perfection for every player from a young age. It doesn't matter how tall they are or how athletic, they all need to practice handles, low post, shooting 3s and passing. The Yugoslavian coaches are among the most brilliant in the world, look into it. There is a good documentary on youtube from the Denver Nuggets where they visited Serbia and talked about the history of basketball in this part of Europe.
