Thank you Mr. Sidharth Varadarajan and the Wire for doing this exclusive piece on J. Muralidhar, gem of a person and a judge. Had he been elevated to the Supreme Court, he could have dispensed justice for another three more years, which is what this ruling dispensation prevented. He did his best for the cause of justice wherever he was sent. However the cause of justice and our democracy suffered when he was transferred out of Delhi at the crucial juncture and when he was denied elevation to the Supreme Court.
