The Jomboy guts series was just reaction vids at first. Now they've morphed into 30 minute trade wars like it's fantasy lol

The watchin guts series is seriously some must watch content... i imagine this channel is going to blow up pretty soon

"Recently discovered snow" is insane. It's worded in a way where it seems like she's never even heard of snow in her entire life until recently. Like, she's watching a christmas movie and sees snow on the ground and thinks to herself "what the hell is going on here?"

Lil trivia: this is the last episode to have 6 actuators after this it's 7 actuators for season 1 and then 8 actuators for the rest of the series.

Jake abandoning his player and then jumping ship to Claudia was absolutely classless. A dark cloud hangs on the game and the spirit of competition. Also the smoke blocked Chrissy's sight of the actuator.

Sam with a giant, ill-fitting referee shirt for Warehouse games, explaining infractions or rulings to the home audience with an intentionally bad British accent would be a great addition.

I don't think she was making fun of Chance's name. I think she was poking fun at her own accent.

Chance has to go down as the biggest bust 1st pick of all time. The guy had awesome rehearsals but couldn't perform when it mattered. I'm surprised his last name isn't Leaf. Claudia, on the other hand, had mediocre rehearsals but was able to use that knowledge to take control of most of the events. Chrissy was a good competitor, but was held back by being too conservative. It was a solid strategy, however. She only lost because of one mistake on the crag.

That fall hurt Jakes soul, ha ha ha! He looked so defeated.

I actually specifically remember this episode from when I was a Kid. I didnt have cable growing up so my Grandpa recorded a few episodes of Guts and I used to watch them repeatedly. I still vividly remember mike saying "Claudia in Blue" and Chanse sucking..

Was Team Claudia right from the beginning! I knew Chance would have a tough time on the crag because the red path is the most difficult. Chrissy didn't look like much of a competitor. Chrissy surprised me but Claudia still goes home with the gold!

The easiest way of thinking about the math for the Aggro Crag is that you get +175 points for every place you finish ahead of your opponent. If you're 100 points behind going into the last round, you just need to finish one place ahead of them. If you're 200-300 points behind, then you need to finish first and your opponent finish last to finish two places ahead and get +350 points. If you are 400 points behind, it's impossible to finish first. Thinking about it this way makes figuring out what you need to do in the final round much easier. Last week was interesting as you thought Brent couldn't win, but because he was 100 points behind 2nd and 300 points behind 1st he could still win by beating 1st place by two positions (+350) and 2nd place by one position (+175). This would have happened if he'd won the Crag and Christa had come last. Interestingly, if he'd been 200 points behind 2nd and 300 behind first, he couldn't have won as it's impossible to finish two places ahead of both your opponents.

I dont think these originally aired in the same order they taped them. This episode might have actually been the second episode of this set that was taped seeing that they're still using the slingshot for the volleyball.. With the total amount of guts episodes there are, you might have to start doing these more than once a week. I'm trying to remember but I think there were 4 seasons total? First 2 season with the "Aggro Crag", Season 3 with the "Mega Crag", and Season 4 which was "Global Guts" with the "Super Aggro Crag".. Something like 160 episodes total?

The results from an episode should determine draft order for the next episode. Could make trading more interesting, give Z and Joez more to bargain with, and it would have given Jake more incentive to consider the trade

In these situations I think an original owner option to switch back before the start of the Crag. So if Chance goes off and Claudia goes south then Jake can just take back Chance.
