Diffusion Choir is a kinetic sculpture in Massachusetts that moves like a flock of birds. It's comprised of 400 origami-like birds that perform a synchronized dance.
It's more like a field of flowers than a flock of birds. Fields of flowers open and close in response to light. Flocks of birds move through the air. Still it is very beautiful and a wonderful idea! Must be a pain to dust though.
The open space chosen for this work of art is most appropriate. "Birds in flight" from an interior view. Nature brought inside. Relaxing to watch, no doubt. As well as being a focal point to promote great conversations. Nice.
I feel sorry for anyone who couldn't just appreciate how beautifully simple, yet clever, and mesmerising this art is, and needed to leave a smart arse comment.
Why am I seeing this now after 4years? Lovely, but birds or marine creatures? Don't see much connection between organic life and a kinetic sculpture there, since the design is unmistakably that of the umbrella not an organic lifeform.
Are you for real, it said very clearly similar in movement whoever has seen this video has seen they are tiny umbrella like design .it's truly awesome for simpler people like me to appreciate .
This is so breathtakingly beautiful and I'm so jealous I didn't make it! Maybe in the other universe, it was me, that's why I'm so overwhelmed by its hypnotic beauty...
