I feel it guys and sorry to hear that. My Sister was in a coma in 2014 but thankfully came out of it, and I hope the same for your family member also. Unfortunately her autistic son, (my nephew) died last friday (5th)and you're very right about hugging the family whenever you can. Stay strong guys, praying for the best, cheers.

The fishing did suck. The weather had them deep and not biting. I'm going back this weekend and I bet the conditions will be way better. I live in Ridgecrest, so it's only an hour drive. :)

I'm originally from LA, we had a summer place in Kernville. My pop had a BASS TRACKER, we fished Isabella all the time. Rain could get a little crazy but the wind was the most dangerous thing. We'd be backing the boat in an that damn wind would kick up out of nowhere. We liked Rocky Point the best but we would get to to just B4 the middle the would whip us all over the place. You didn't need your trolling motor, that wind push u everywhere. That frightened the crap out of me. I live in Idaho now, but really miss Cali. I'm 64 yrs old and remember it like it was yesterday. Take care and stay safe, coming out of that windy canyon road ♥️

Nice update on Isabela, always cold and windy it seems. I've never done well on my day trips there from Tehachapi. My favorite three day trips are to Lake Mojave chasing Stripers and camping on the water. Prayers for your uncle. Thanks for the video.

Prayers sent for sure 🙏. My dad and I did lot of shore fishing there at Lake Isabella; we went up and down but generally the French Gulch was the best for us anyway. I remember years ago up near Woffords Heights, water was so low that the old cement canal was showing (that is usually well below water line). Had a friend of mine who lived in Mountain Mesa decided to take short cut (think she had ford explorer) through normally dry part of the lake, got caught up in a storm, got stuck in mud. She was able to walk home but next day her car was under roughly six or so feet underwater. And also did some fishing off that same pier at pismo beach but never had much luck.

I think or hope your uncle will be OK, I`ve had 2 heart attacks and I`m still kickin, 72 years old now and have survived 20yrs since the problems. Your son is a natural born chef, he`s made my mouth water a number of times watching him cook. Carne asada! I love tacos with carne asada in fried corn tortillas with all the extras. Going to your neck of the woods next week camping on the Klamath but no fishing there and then on to Neveda (Tahoe area) The vids are real good, Thanks
