Even their flagship Caesars Palace is turning into a dump with improper maintenance, broken things in the room, inadequate cleaning, and being run down. Also, their toilet/septic system has a constant foul smell…

When we went to see Rod Stewart in July at Caesar’s Palace the stench of sewage in the casino area by the theatre was awful. 🤮

I stayed at Caesars 2 months ago, and it looked dated. I prefer the room at Flamingo it looked recently remodeled.

@@felipen.630 I agree that Flamingos renovated rooms are simple yet clean. I just don’t understand the sink faucet handles that turn with the decorative base in all their renovated rooms. Flamingo has easy access to the Linq promenade which I like. However their food hall charges 2 for 1 comp dollar and the prices are double the norm. Planet Hollywood has access to the miracle mile shop with normal priced food.

The new private equity people running Caesars have figured out that they can spend very little on maintenance and still have people coming to their hotels.

I think their focus is on predatory gambling revenue, judging from my results of a year of $10 avg bet on slots across Las Vegas with 90% of the play at Caesar's properties and 10% spread across other casinos where 3 jackpot hand pay won at Caesar and 3 jackpot hand pays at others. Proportionally, if I won 3 jackpot hand pays at other casinos I should have won roughly 27 jackpot hand pays at Caesars. Too much of a huge variance to count it as luck at other casinos.

Same thing in Atlantic City….Caesar’s Entertainment properties are not quality anymore. Even for Diamond members. The hotels are little staffed and they are not cleaning everything in the room. They spot clean. They are comping the room so they don’t care.

I stayed there for three nights last October and had no problems or issues. I am however still wondering why the shower door only goes halfway across the shower? The floor gets soaked every time you shower!! Very odd!

Stayed there in December of 2023. Had a guest services rep enter the room when we declined housekeeping and had a do not disturb sign on the door. They went through our luggage and stole cash that we'd left in the room. Harrah's risk management said there was one key card entry that wasn't our guest keys... hotel management did absolutely nothing. Las Vegas Metro didn't press charges either. Just stay away from Vegas.

Caesars, for the most part doesn't care. You see things at their properties that you would never see at the Wynn or Venetian. I just stayed at the Harrah's in Rincon California, the room was renovated and was clean...I was shocked...

I was at LAX when it was very busy 3 years ago. They had so many customers at the Budget rental, they got me in a Toyota Corolla that wasn't cleaned. The car had a stench as if someone was on their menstrual cycle. That was a nasty car. Luckily, the car rental agency got me in a cleaner car, but they gave the dirty car to someone else.

Two years ago in a suite I found open and used soap bar in the shower and left over take out in the mini fridge. Then the next year the AC makes a racket every time it turned on keeping me awake. After two days of no repair I was moved to a different room.

Harrah's is a straight up dump but it is not the only place in Vegas like that. Sometimes hotel rooms are potluck. You might get a clean one. You might get a nasty one. You just never know until you walk in.

the last time I stayed at a hotel $125 a night there was poop on the bathroom floor, the heater was loud as a train on railroad tracks and the venetian blinds would never close.

Harrah's was a great casino in the 1990s. They had really good comps back then and their rooms were always nice and clean. Then they merged with Some big corp and its been terrible

Strip the bed and check out the mattress. Make you sure take the pillow case off too. I learned enough from watching Another Dirty Room, to never stay in a hotel less than 5 stars.

Next time you are in any hotel/motel bring a black light and take a peek in the dark. You will find body fluid remains on everything... The only clean at the toilet/shower and nothing else except perhaps the tops of counters. YUCK!
