Honestly, I don’t think that his level of paranoia is very healthy, and putting it on his partner is kind of awful. Some people do okay on birth control but others don’t - there are side effects and risks with that as well. There are condoms, tracking your cycle, and plan B if the condoms fail and you’re still worried. I don’t think this is a problem of a rational person - it’s something internal for him.

I respect that too and I honestly can understand his way of thinking. Better safe than sorry. From all the possibilities condoms have one of the highest chances to fail if you compare the index (don't know how it's called in English but it's basically a percentage of how many of hundred women got pregnant using the method) For me I would feel way to unsafe if I only used condoms with my partner. They do mention a vasectomy as well so we will see on what they decide on/if they decide on something together.

I was a little confused as to why she didn't call him out for being on the phone and not showing her appreciation and interest. How could she feel sparks if he don't give her that. He said that they won't work without any emotion so he really wasn't into it, like anyone who cares for their partner would try to work on the addresses problem at least, even if it's not the actual problem.
