@@Walkerbjj I bet. I've played both the Uberschall & Savage, but never the Ecstacy. I can only assume it's epic. Bogner is always top tier.

@@adamstrachn sitting down and messing with all the little switches opens up so many tonal possibillites on that amp. The ONLY issue I had with my Savage was it didn't cut in a mix nearly as well as my Bogners. On their own, they were insane. But the midrange just didn't pop through a mix the way my Bogners do. Playing alone, the Savage is the most impressive tone I've heard though

Word on the street(I have one and it's glorious) is that the current one is modeled more after the ultra and has different switches inside to get closer to different versions

But is it Ultra Impressive? 🤔

I have the Orange Rocker Terror as well. With an OCD or Blues Driver up front it is killer.

@@Dicktoben I've played most versions of the VH4 and Herbert, and have never liked them at all. They have a reputation for being "the ultimate modern guitar amps" and their looks certainly suggest that's what they're going for too, but they're not anything close to that at all. They're muddy, loose, and blanketed. They sound like they lop off a ton of the guitar's treble at the input and only process the mids from the guitar or something. There's barely any detail in them. Just muffled, rounded off mids. They have plenty of upper treble harmonics, but no actual guitar detail from the guitar itself. Notice how every major player who uses a Diezel (Metallica, Tool, etc) always blends it with other amps. There's a reason for that. The other amps are where most of the detail and expression comes from. The Diezels maybe add texture or thickness or something, but to me they're pretty awful on their own.

Don't get too mad, my friend. This was one of the early models that has been passed around since before they even launched, haha. This one came from the Knocked Loose recording session
