Lovely home! I would add on a larger kitchen with a nice large walk-in pantry. Also, I would add a larger third bedroom downstairs as my master with a soaking tub and separate. shower and huge walk-in closet. The bedroom upstairs would make a nice private guest quarters. I absolutely love that porch, how it wraps around both sides.
A very competent and comfy plan. Those side doors to the service areas are useful and give a good flow to all the living areas on the porch. I did wonder why the kitchen didn't extend out the back with a door. But alternatively, the ground floor bedroom could extend completely behind the kitchen.
There are places for coats and footwear at the front door for guests and at the back door for family. The kitchen is a bit small, but there's more storage space in the laundry room. Upstairs, I'd swap the tub for one that will better accommodate a shower, but otherwise it's a "sweet suite". A good, functional plan.
It's a gorgeous home, love the entrance with a sitting area, love the living room, love the dining area, that color of green goes nice with that pale blue, love the kitchen, love the bathroom, love the laundry room, love the bedroom, go upstairs, love the bathroom and of course the bedroom, ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I get so excited when ur videos come out 😹👏🏻. I’m about to move to a historic house & farm, but we’re doing tiny homes on the property for a couple things. I need one for a home office/guest house, but mostly for all my many animals to hang out and not worry about the historical elements or fancier stuff.
It needs a closet in the upstairs room or some sort of built in, and the downstairs bathroom needs at least a vanity with space or a small towel closet. Other than that really nice plan.
Lovely house. Rather luxurious but still cozy. Would be great for a working couple and their young adult child, or for active seniors, or as a vacation home for a fortunate family.
Why are there three front doors? The one in the kitchen and laundry room are superfluous in a house this size. The kitchen is small and would benefit from a butler’s pantry for storage of small appliances like a blender, stand mixer, air fryer, Instant Pot, etc.
Not a traditional farm house (thank you) but certainly has a resemblance. Porch slats are dangerous for women in heals. EZ fix. Living are adequate but would prefer it be slightly larger. Dining are feels like it’s crammed in a bit. Kitchen with what appears to be a pantry is fine but I would want a larger refrigerator. Laundry would allow a deep freeze as it’s a larger room. Don’t like the quarter moon showers at all! Downstairs bedroom, the 1 & only is way too small. Looks like you’ve put storage under the stairs (GREAT!) but I wish you would open doors a bit to see how large these types of areas are. Upper level is fine but was hoping for 2 bedrooms up there.
Didn't like the dining area with a view of bathroom. Kitchen is too small it need a pantry. Looks as though you won't be able to open up the fridge fully with a counter across from it. Has nice curb appeal with great outdoor living space.
