Hi guys, on the 3rd of May, I went to Kamangu in Kikuyu to showcase Musa & Christine's home. It's a 3 bed bungalow all ensuite, with an additional ensuite DSQ. They also used the hidden-roof concept, which adds more flair to the façade of the house. Enjoy the video!

I like this concept it's cost effective, accurate and neat. Contertops & wardrobe walls cut from the panels saves time & money. There's no plastering & finish obviously will be superb. Kudos Kingdom precast.

Great work team... I'm a happy project architect..the precast/dry technology building concept is a cost saving method especially on the labour and also general cost...the concept does not limit design flexibility same as the conventional one.

It looks pretty when you see the house at outside and is lower cost but it may have water leakage after some time and remember Kenya climate has frequent raining seasons, this is my past experiwnce. But it depends on the quality of the construction and how they take care of ensuring the maximum fitting of the roof.

Very informative content. Thanks for showcasing. The owner got enough knowledge on building their house dream and planned every piece of building the house. Precasts can solve the housing problems that we are facing. Europe, Japan, China and US used precasts and containers to cover the housing needs of their populations. Recently the Asian countries using it to treat the slums (Indonesia, Malaysia, India others). We Africans spend more money and time using stone blocks and the slums are spreading in our cities. I wished you ask the engineer more technical details of precast idea. Thank you

The hollow sections trap air, which is a poor conductor of sound, which makes them a bit soundproof. But if you're after serious soundproofing, you can add sound insulation foam within the hollow sections
