Ok listen Mr. Rad, As a 2000's kid who grew up in Dallas, I am so unbelievably jealous of you guys in FL! Your videos are insane, and I wish I can move there when I'm financially stable to hopefully get some of that action. Keep them coming!!! you rock!
I twitch it and then let the current take it then twitch it again. Not forceful but in a gliding motion and repeat. I am doing this against the current and close too the rocks and oyster beds.
Have the smaller size exact lure. I fished it hard for a couple hours at John’s Pass, with no luck. But your video inspired me to give this lure another try. I was gonna send it to my lure graveyard box. I just might give it one more shot.
I bought 2 of these lures the one pictured and one in white. I caught a Tarpon (Charlotte harbor) on the white one last night and I'm heading up your way today to try some of your fish. Thank you sir!
I always change the hardware on my yo-zuri's. I've had a lot of bent out hooks on mine. Generally, I go with hyperwire split rings and VMC Fish Fighter or VMC 4X 9626 hooks. I noticed both of the hooks had bent barbs.
youzuri are great for large mouth and smaller sizes for crappie. Thanks again for another awesome video. keep up living your dreams. God Bless and stay safe 🙏
Great video thanks JC! Wish we had those Spanish Mackerel here, they are 2-3 times the size of the ones in UK waters. Nothing worse than noisy neighbours - a new family has moved in next door to us - no car but he has a company van and the alarm keeps going off. 🙄🙄 Tight lines, stay safe & well! 🎣🎣👍👍
I believe that's the Ayu color. That works over here in the northeast too but I prefer the bunker color, hooks and split rings are trash though. First use caught a 30" stripper and bent one of the trebles. Next day, when changing the hooks I realized that the split rings were already corroding so I just swapped out the rings along with the hooks. Otherwise great lure.
That's my favorite go to lure as well! That yozuri crystal minnow is now joke! I would catch so many Spanish, snook, trout, Jacks, big blue runners... you name it! Also lost quite a few to some toothy critters.
Love the videos as always, JC! Someday I will get my kit together and join the brotherhood of fishing! Until then, your videos make the days better up here in the northeast!
You are write been using that green top for a long time works great for bass as well. A little hard to find that nail on the board is always empty. Hooks bend to easy but I think that mite have something to do why they work so well
JC.....Glad to see you living life!!! Had a friend of mine when ever he came to Florida for vacation he'd buy a rod and reel from wallyworld and keep the sticker on. At the end of his trip, he'd wipe it down and return it. Just wondering 🤔
Man, why in the world did you throw all those good fish tacos back in the water? Throw some chefs Paul blackened redfish magic seasoning on those filets toss them on the grill I bet you won't find another fish that would make a better taco
