CubingUsa New Jersey Championship 2018 was my third official competition, and also, one of my favorites. This competition started the formation of my closest cubing friend group DNF-37(iykyk), and I am still very close friends with them today. The semi finals was the farthest I made it in the competition[me and Alex were happy about that :)]. But more importantly, I started to realize that I was passionate about cubing, and wanted to pursue it. Later on in the competition was finals and Patrick Ponce ended up becoming first New Jersey Champion.
Fast forward to 2024: New Jersey Championship 2024 was announced, this was the first New Jersey State Championship since 2018. I only had one thing in mind, become the New Jersey Champion. Through hours of practice and grinding, I was able to take the title and become the 2024 New Jersey Champion.
Now, every single solve in this average was not executed very well, it was choppy overall and is not a good average for me. But, everyone was struggling with their own nerves, and I am grateful that I was able to get a half-decent average to take the title. I want to thank everyone who has supported me along my journey and I cannot express how much this competition means to me. New Jersey State Championships will always have a special place in my heart.

Carter not only participated in organizing the competition, but he started a competition livestreaming service(Clicky Studios) that debuted this competition. All footage with commentary is from the livestream, and I have got to say that it was really impressive how it displayed in this competition. Finally, I have some big competitions coming up this summer, and I cannot wait to compete and meet new friends, I am really excited to move forward with cubing and see where it takes me. So far it has worked, with all my efforts making me the second ever New Jersey Champion.
