Hey Ben, loving your videos. On my Meta ads manager it just says "Set up the Conversions API to help lower your cost per result" and doesn't give me a drop down of what's shown on yours after choosing website. I am trying to set up a 'sales' ad. I am also having trouble with your main video regarding learning the entire process. The part where I am to create an audience by inputting their age, gender and likes etc doesn't seem to exist, so I am wondering if Meta has changed this part of the process now and is running entirely off of AI to determine this themselves?

Could you please make a video on best optimization strategy for a leads campaign on a new pixel with no data? Ads manager says you will get 0 conversations because it has no data. No one ever seems to talk about strategies of warming up a pixel especially on a higher ticket item. How do you optimize for something that hasn't been optimized before?

Good suggestion. (In short ignore the warning and crack on. Don't worry about warming up your Pixel)

@Ben Heath - Actually accounts with No/Minimal Conversion are too many. For them Sales campaign with "Purchase Event" doesn't work. Please make a Detailed Video on this - since lot of your followers would be from same group including me.

Thank you so much for sharing! Is amazing tips and information. Quick question, in my conversion event I have two categories: inactive and active events, weirdly the event of purchase is on the inactive events even though I hava had activity in purchase. Do you know what could be happening? Thanks in advance!

Happy to help :) That's odd. Are the purchases showing up in Ads Manager? Have they been attributed to a campaign?

@@BenHeath thanks! The purchases are not showing on the ads manager. Its weird because if I go to shopify it says that some purchases have been made via Facebook, and the only way I supposed it went for a purchase was via my ad. If I go to my event manager and click on the purchase event it has all my adsets linked to the event. But in the ads manager is not showing any information for purchase :(

I have a traffic campaign going at the moment with max to Link Clicks. But if I change it to conversions it say: "We'll try to show your ads to people most likely to have a conversation with you through messaging". However, I have my button in the ad set to 'Learn More'. Therefore do I need to change to conversations and change the button to 'Send Message'?

hey! i am having issues with the meta pixel essentially, I already went through the process of creating the pixel, linking to my website, etc. BUT now when I go to create an ad, it shows an alternative pixel that is linked to my personal account - as opposed to the pixel that I created with my business account, and linked to my website.

Hi Ben, thank you very much for super valuable content! I have 2 question and would be very happy about an answer. 1. I use the campaign structure you recommend in your last campaign structure video. How should I do, if I have several different winner creatives for one product and want to scale them all to broad. Do you put them all in the same winner dct or do you scale all of them in their own separate adset? If I make everyone in one dct, Facebook will only spend money into one creative and the others spend almost nothing. 2. Do you use a separate campaign for each product then? I wish Amazon allowed pixels. As an author, despite the new Amazon attribution, I'm really missing out on the power of FB ads sales with just traffic/click campaigns.

I agree! That really sucks that we can’t track anything after the link click. Wish Amazon would allow pixels on each author’s or filmmaker’s page. It’s pretty much trial and error or a guessing game without it.

Why not have a landing page that have a final link to your books. This will allow you to have some sort of attribution or tag added to your link from Facebook Ads. This kind can help optimise your Facebook Ads to some extent for your books on Amazon.

Hi Ben, thanks for sharing this important info: But let me the solution of the "Conversations optimization isn't available for WhatsApp numbers from your location: WhatsApp numbers from your location cannot be used for the Conversations optimization. Please select a different optimization or another messaging app to continue." How i can solve that challenge dear Ben?

​@@BenHeath we spend around $20k/mo on ads plus an additional $3k or so on "boosting." We've found that "boosting" drives low cost traffic to people we believe are genuinely interested in the brand. It seems like it is working, I just wish FB would let us track sales from this.

Hi Ben, your content is very helpful. Thanks for so much of free valuable information. I have a quick question that is unrelated currently to this video, its about the Leads Centre in Meta. I did not know it existed in Meta until I saw it in one of my recent clients' accounts. But I cannot find it anywhere under my other clients' accounts. Would you know where can I find the leads center? I have gone through all the options under Meta and cannot seem to find it. Thanks in advance.

Hi Ben. Have you experienced any decrease in performance recently? Had a 40 ROAS for September but only 10 for this month so far. Update: problems have suddenly disappeared. Had issues from about 3 October - 12 October. Conversion ads in South Africa.

I use "add to cart" instead of "purchases" for some campaigns where it is unlikely the campaign will get 50 purchase events in a 7-day period to get past Learning. Should I just stick to Purchases?

I am currently runing lead ads, 2 months ago we averaged around 20$-35$ per lead, as of now our lead prices have doubled or tripled. We have introduced 1 more batch of professionally made creatives for each ad group and increased our budget by around 100% in the last week or so. Only for our lead cost to go up and up. Do you have any idea of whats going on with facebook at the moment? Always looking forward to your videos, helps a ton! 🤝

So I certainly wouldn't recommend scaling when you are seeing higher costs. The more you spend the higher your cost per lead is going to be. When you see high costs you either want to maintain budget or decrease budget. That will have had a big negative impact on lead cost. The other thing to consider is that this round of ad creative just didn't land. That is very common and the solution is to try again I'm afraid. There isn't a Facebook ads wide issue with performance. Every single day of the last 8 years of creating content I have had someone telling me there is, but that clearly can't be true and we aren't seeing anything across the board.

@@BenHeath Thank you Ben! Will definitely decrease budget and use the additional budget on new campaigns and creatives. Our old ones were looking very poorly, literally just image and white text. I guess its the increase in budget, we went from spending 250$ per day to 500$ in just a few days. By the way: Thank you for answering comments like this! You are doing gods work Ben! 🤌

If you generate more than 10 purchases a week and can track that relatively accurate then yes :)

Hi Ben, thanks for the info. Our products are high ticket and 99% of purchases are made in-store. We are running on Shopify both online and in-store. We have about 60-80 purchases per week, and most (if not all) ad sets end up in learning limited. Would you still choose purchases over link clicks, even if our purchase data is limited like that?

Keep your audience as broad as possible. That also includes not targeting interests. Only target location and age and gender.

Good stuff! I’m getting 4-5 leads per day for my custom hat business, with about $4.50 cost per lead. But ZERO of the leads have answered phone calls, texts or emails, and I reply within 1-2 hours usually, and always within the day. Have any reccs on this issue? At least if they answered and rejected me it would be easier lol

Try replying with these leads within 5 mins. You can do this using automations with CRM's like GHL. The longer you wait to reply, the less warm the lead

I’ve had a similar experience but in a different niche. Meta auto fills user data and sometimes it may be outdated that is why someone would not answer. Resolution: create a question box for them to manually enter their number, name, and email this improving lead quality

That depends on tons of variables and I don't want to provide more specific advice without knowing more about what it is you are doing. $1 per conversation does sound pretty good though.

So what about omnipresence strategy that you are preaching? Even if you have retargeting group of "high quality" leads, isn't FB showing ads only for small % which is the cheapest/worst?

Because your audience is so much smaller with my recommended omnipresent content set up and they consist of warm prospects, you don't run into the same problems.

@@BenHeath I understand strategy but what I see is that facebook is still not showing ads to all audience (smaller retargeting griup), and also this campain is expensive. For example I have 10 k people who visited my offer last mont. And when I check "Cost per 1,000 Accounts Centre accounts reached" it is high, plus reach in terms of no of account reached is like 5 k maybe
