I’ve been doing this for my whole life and not recieved physical rewards, but it feels absolutely amazing when your honest and stand up for yourself and others

I have done this thing today, A guy was allready standing in a queue and I rushed and entered in an ATM before him so I just dominated him in a way that he was not able to stand for himself but still he was afraid. so I asked him to use ATM machine before me and he smiled and gave a consent to me to use an ATM.
Sadly today's society cannot differentiate a person who stands up for what's right from a pushovers and so we're easily taken advantage of for having that attitude
I like how this whole stand up for what is right even if you don't benefit from it, is probably one of the things every human should feel but a lot wouldn't lol
No if it doesn’t benefit you than don’t do it. Getting respect is a benefit. But in his definition of benefit I would say benefits are better than respect.
I feel like if you don’t already do this , it says a lot about you. You shouldn’t need to be taught to do these things. You should always treat others how you want to be treated. When you do that without a want for reward , it comes around a lot.

what about when you feel too guilty or if you did the same in the past or.. you dont know or cant know if youre forgiven. what then? still act on it altho the guilt pushes you back?
Being a good person can trick people into believing you're a good person. The fools won't even realize you just weren't tempted correctly while you were weak and had a poor social support web to fall back on.
