Not just PvE players are using dilu and voiding to prevent wiping. There’s a lot of toxic top 250s in the guilds Assassin, Akers, Night Seer, and more that will wipe a freshie or pver and then void once they get put in combat by another max level that spun back
I have a marker at diluvian (on my pvp) but its simply because every depths ganking guild has an abnormal amount of people on standby and use very cheesy things like saltchemist insanity pots, shared misery, realm, saving bell, assassins, trackstars, artillery mages, etc and theres literally no way for pves to escape either since they'll just realm you all you can hope is that you can stall and run long enough to void
honestly this is a pretty valid reason to just wanna jump in the void all of that does sounds like BS, if anything all cheese those things should be nerfed as well but we will have to see
@@Agamatsu i think there should be something done about teaming in general while in the deths, because it doesnt matter how hard you nerf all these types of builds. Nerfing all of them would make a bunch of people who play the build normally have to switch builds. I do think it should be a fact that if someone has more people than you, they have an advantage, but having 8 or so max levels just to kill some random progging pve player is not the way to go It would definitely be pretty hard to nerf teaming as a whole, but I do remember when YBA made it so if youre fighting another person then you get s to all other moves. I think they could maybe do something like if theres a guild with atleast 5 people, you get no hitstun or ragdoll from all other attacks and damage is halved. Or you could make it so the more people from the guild that hit you, your hp is multiplied (like a boss that scales hp with the amount of players there). Im not really sure, cuz nerfing teaming is pretty hard TL;DR nerfing all the builds people use in the depths would be inefficient and risky to normal players and we should nerf teaming while in depths instead
Really hope something is done about this bc there really isn’t a point in fighting in depths when it’s easy not wipe by abusing dilu and going to layer 2 in combat. Mainly freshies die in the depths to max lvls who gank them and and its near impossible have a successful spin back cuz most max lvls just void when they get in combat to another max lvl
if theres gonna be a relic that makes it so you can't jump void similar to visionshaper at least make it so it locks you in a 1v1 with the other person, since the only time I really jump void anymore during pvp is when its like a 3v1 or some shit against me
ok well I understand that these methods of escape are very cheesy, but just general depths ganking sucks right now. if your not on a pvp build then your pretty much screwed. worse yet pretty much the only reason people are on max pvps is to depths gank. so pves are really just screwed without these options of escape.
while I understand the complaint especially if it involves cheese pvp builds, does that mean that depths should just not have PvP risk? Quite literally all forms of PvE besides hell mode and primadon are instanced so you arent facing any players there either At best id say they just need to get rid of the cheesy PvP builds but past that I dont think they should just rid PvP of all of its risk especially in the area that’s supposed to be the most risky
@@Agamatsu honestly I agree, I just have had too many situations where on a build im simply going to one place in the depths and im depths ganked, feels too common. but then again I feel the real problem is that its incentivized to gank almost everyone you see and thats what truly needs to be looked at.

Get hit one by a mob when falling down and you wipe(sharko coral spear, jumping broodlord(god it needs to be nerfed) threshers that move and jump at rediculous speeds) None of these are good changes
First off yes, many people have TP bell and abuse this regularly. Second off, I specifically said that PvE combat tag could keep the 50% above health void escape. Its like none of yall pay attention to the video bruh 💀yall deadass want no consequences in the depths

I feel the diluvian TP should stay bc I was literally exiting the diluvian when 3 people jumped me when I just spawned in. The tp literally saved me from wiping to a 1v3.

the void change i agree with however not the diluvian one because having tp bell to just immediately teleport to diluvian mechanism is extremely niche. It's not like every max level running around in the depths has tp bell it's a legendary bell for a reason.

Jumping in the void only works if they are above half HP. The depths is dangerous because any mob and player can attack you and cause you to wipe. There should be a way to somewhat save yourself instead of wiping 100% of the time because a group of players decide to group together and wipe people. Aside from that, vision shaper exists and stops people from being able to jump in the void. Counters do exist
If the game was balanced adding it wouldn’t be an issue, but it just won’t work dawg. Too many cheese options. If you remove the cheese options for PVE builds then do it for PVP builds too.
In my opinion that should be staying like that. Depths gankers are annoying asf but if the game decides to make diluvian Not be able to start in PvP Mode and Including bell and Layer 2 Depths gankers will grow even bigger. So for me that should be staying like that.

For the bells, it was intended, and it's good . For the pve tp method. Just make it that u can't use the bell to go there exactly. While no one has complained about this. It's only you. They have to make a poll for it before any change they want to do. If not. U will see pve players getting combat tagged by ardour scream and killed and get all their loot stolen and also their build wiped. Just because some ppl are so trash and the game doesn't know how to fix an issue
Even if things like this get changed you are still gonna have the issue of people flooding servers for depths ganks. Ignoring the issue of broken builds, no amount of skill is gonna save you from being 4v1d in depths. Not to mention with how strong mobility still is in this game how is the Blindseer attunementless hvy player gonna bossraid people he can't even knock because of how fast they are. I get the idea of making depths ganks better for people who get jumped by a person and then have the person who jumped them not have a free safety net, but this doesn't solve the issue of getting jumped and not actually being able to do anything because you got outnumbered.

Because then the depths essentially becomes free exp. If your doing deepbound your 100% running PvE and if your doing PvE there’s virtually no threat outside of other players due to you insta killing almost any monster in the game. And if your running PvP on deepbound for some reason, using this method to escape a fight your losing is absolutely a cheese and a total dick move.

@Wcs_deepwoken As a pve player. My items are either in bank or some ASAP. Most pve players in fact are not carrying heaps of loot, we have bank slots, the chances of finding a stacked pve player is like 1/20 maybe rarer, it takes a real incompetent player to not have a way of keeping valuable items put of their inventories. 9/10 as well I am full party ganked by max pvp builds while I am a measly pve build, i can do big damage and all but I can't string combos or even do much ranged or posture damage. Also if free exp is true then using your own logic attacking a pve with a full max pvp guild is the same thing, pves cannot raid boss like that. If pve is so risk free then your solution shouldn't be to throw them into unfair fights but to make pve scarier.
@@user-he1ii7gh8k I don’t think throwing PvE players into unfair situations is a good idea, I just think being able to completely escape and cheese somebody PvPing in a game heavily meant for PvP with almost no effort (teleporting to diluvian then going into the trial is super easy to pull off) shouldn’t be a thing. I do agree with your point of making PvE more scary though.
I personally don't like the idea on the PvE side of builds. I'd rather go just play Voidwalker or do PvE in the overworld rather than progressing a Diluvian build to have it wiped by Depths gankers, it's just not fun and I refuse to be anyone's walking treasure. Edit: Forgot to add the main point I wanted to bring :P, some people just like the PvE side of deepwoken and don't wanna get involved in PvP, it'd be unfair to cut them off from that becase (as far as I can tell) depths gankers complain they can't gank people.

In PERMA DEATH games the whole fucking point is to NOT DIE. A player like me has so many builds on stand by that even if I did wipe a build(which I haven't done since layer 2 dropped) I would just use one of my other builds. Death has lost all meaning ever since we got good at the game, so stop trying to make wiping players easier than it already is.

Ngl pve and pvp in this game do not mix well. I think that’s the core reason as to why there are several methods for pve players to use in helping them slightly in the depths by a one time heal or the void as a way to enter layer 2. This in turn though becomes extremely valuable for pvp players to just void risk. And I don’t think there is an easily tangible way to “make it good for both pvp and pve.” Pve gives control to the user so that the game becomes a “practice and learn” kind of game. Pvp has so many wildcards that it’s near impossible to make it fightable unless they strip a ton of mechanics like visionshaper realm, long range spam, assassination, outnumbering, etc. And when you fight something out of your control, it doesn’t become fun anymore.
Yall PVE player’s gotta adapt and make good PVE’s and PVP’s at the same time because people who jump me in depths (on my pve) tend to lose, you just need to carry a good pvp weapon, a mantra to mixup, kongas and you’re set! I’ve been surviving depths ganks on a 100 year old pve all the time. You just gotta be well equipped
Honestly i think the thing thats unfair is when i spend 10 hours making a pve build for some random ass pvp build hiding in the city to wipe me and waste me time for no reason. I think the solution here is the diluvian thing shouldnt exist, below a certain health threshold and layer 2 should just be more difficult to escape. Chaser is too easy for being what he is.
To me, this should stay. Layer 2 is supposed to be a "last chance" so i don't see why not, the diluvian though? Maybe not. Though it should probably stay, a sudden change like that would make pve in depths not fun. Nobody likes being ganked by 3 cheese pvp builds on a pve slot.
As much as I enjoy overworld ganking, I really don't think depths ganking should be made easier. Nobody wants to get 1 shot by some bs combo and be forced to remake their build. Yes I know the highly experienced players can get to max in like an hour but you can't just only think about those players. Newer/inexperienced players still spend like 5-8 hours making a build.
Wiping has always been the main point of the Depths. If you don't wanna wipe, stop going there. If you are, wiping should be something you expect to happen, not a myth like it is now.
