I'm from the Netherlands but in my country the subject is called "zorg en welzijn" it includes working in hospitals and taking care of old people, people with disabilities and with little children, translated to English it's called "care and welfare" I might will find out what the real name of the subject is called when I have time tho :)
Sign of a good MUA: using a sponge around their hand to make sure they don't touch your face constantly, throw-away mascara/eyebrow brushes. Also, explaining, asking... I really loved her professionalism and laidback behaviour.
Okay hut the MUA's manners are what truly did it for me! She was so kind and professional! She also was giving tips etc. You can tell she loves her job. Plus, the makeup look turnt out amazing!
The moment she asked Judy how she was feeling was shocking for me! Our Linda has posted so many makeup videos and the amount of people that has asked her about her feelings is limited to a few. I love this makeup artist, truly. Not only she created a beautiful makeup look, she was kind and gentle. Seeing Judy being treated like this by someone else aside from Lucas was so refreshing!
In your opinion what color should she have used because I have the same skin toned and I want to learn for my personal knowledge I have yellow pale skin no pink tones why’s so ever
I loved how she actually knew how to contour properly. In so many of these videos, they MUA's concentrate so much on the eyes, that the actual foundation and contouring is an afterthought.
I'm genuinely shocked by how she made the foundation work! It looked way to yellow at the start and then BAAM, it looks very natural on you and I'm here like "???? How did she????"
Not sure if you noticed but she blended the color foundation into her neck and chest so it wasn’t noticeable anymore but IT WAS NOT HER MATCH for sure!
My foundation starts out super yellow and oxidizes to a more neutral tone. I remember the first time I tried it and thought I grabbed the wrong shade cause it was so yellow and I wanted a neutral tone
Makeup artists should always describe why they are doing what they are doing. It’s so great to teach the client so they can do it for themselves later.
It’s import to do this without inadvertently offending the client i.e. “Now I’m using a peach-toned concealer to bring lightness to your eye area” sounds much kinder than “I’m covering your dark circles and/or bags.”
I use my fingers for makeup it’s normal the hands warm up foundation more then an applicator which is perfectly fine as long as u have clean hands which should always be the case n a lot of foundation n concealer needs to be pressed in which a sponge doesn’t do as well so don’t be surprised if ur at a high end makeup stand and they do this
The makeup is great but what’s striking the most is her customer service ! The extra miles she goes and the attentiveness to the client is what will get her far and what makes them successful with plenty of good reviews. Well done x 👍
I've watched way too many of these types of videos and I gotta say that lady is by far in every way she presents herself and does her job a top notch artist. Amen to whoever she is, I hope she gets everything she wants and needs in life.
Now *that* is how you do a warm contour. So often I see artists use a warm shade on pale skin and it just looks like they didn't blend their fake tan. But by matching it to her blush it adds such a lovely warmth and dimension to her face.
That makeup artist was so professional, she knew what she was doing and asked her if she was ok with the results all the time, everything was clean, nice job 😊
She was so nice and helpful every step of the way 🤩and offering a break or even water. This was the best MUA I have ever seen!🥰 Oh and the look is flawless 😍
Amazing, professional, explained everything and was extremely thorough, hygienic, friendly and had a wonderful personality. I love how she asked about airbrush as well. Certain people (myself included) don’t like medium-full foundations no matter what texture (creams, powders, etc) but at times I want that flawless look and thus the airbrush is a godsend. Beautiful
She was so nice! And you can tell by the way they (the employees) interact they're pretty close and down to earth. Feels like it would be great to chat with them lol
This lady was so professional! I love how she was asking how you feel and what you think and explaining herself all the way through ❤️ I had higher hopes for the graphic liner 🙈 but I think overall it looked amazing! Especially the skin and the brows
Her posture even changed as the makeup was applied! Judy enjoyed it. She deserves to be pampered with all the stress she’s put herself through with the bad makeup artists 😣
The color of the foundation was a biiiiiiit darker, but besides that, I love this MUA. Please do a worst mua where you tell then to do a make up for a job interview.
I'm not sure if its that dark, it's just way too yellow. Judy has a cool undertone and a mistake I see many makeup artists do is use a yellow base for pink skin.
love how the atmosphere is calm and welcoming. she explained every step, checked if you were ok or needed a break, and never once used her fingers or a dirty applicator. i also love that the other employees minded their manners and the MUA would point out when they were in frame - and they would quickly relocate .she did every step so well. my only negative point would be applying lipstick from the palette and mascara from the tube. 98% perfect!
I can tell this is going to be awesome by the sheer boss attitude this artis had right off the rip...she’s not just doing the thing...she’sEXPLAINING the thing...these ppl seem so inviting and professional... THIS makes me happy.

I'm legit floored by the courtesy and professionalism as she CONSTANTLY asks Joudi if she needs anything, needs to take a break and stretch, needs to use the restroom. It's like, oh, this is how she should be treated. Not like a table that can't move or accidentally blink/eyes water. but like a PERSON. lolll is IT WEIRD I'M GETTING EMOTIONAL
If she's wanting to know some really good cool contours, Anastasia Beverly Hills has a good line of cool toned contours. Also, if she's curious, I know that a bunch of Asian makeup lines sell cool contour, since most of the Asian population has cooler tones. Just find a MUA who carries these lines.
Not only was thiss makeup artist amazing with her talent and artistry but she was professional, she talked her through the whole process and talked about the products she was using, she was also super lovely and caring!
That's so amazing that the makeup artist was explaining step by step what she was doing and what the benefits of it were, excellent!! I love the graphic liner!
you were so happy with this look and honestly it looks gorgeous. The mua must of felt so proud and happy when she saw that you loved it. i always feel so happy when someone is satisfied/happy with my makeup, you can tell when someone is truly happy.
I love almost everything about this make-up and the MUA attitude. I don't like this upper black line, it's too much in my opinion. It's just personal preference 😉

Wow!! I’m so glad to see a happy video. Your makeup was stunning! You’re a beautiful woman on your own, but that was such subtle artwork. The makeup artist did a wonderful job. And when I saw she had finger pads on when touching your face I literally gave her a mental hug. In all your videos I cringe whenever the person doing your makeup touches you face with their bare hands.
I love how she tells you and explains every step of the way I’m a make up artist and even I don’t generally do that. Unless they request I do and I have had that request before. They wanted to learn the steps as I went. But it totally makes the client feel great
Wow! Great job this time and I love how attentive they were. Well worth the money spent here for a great look, great service and excellent quality care. You can really see the difference in personality, atmosphere and professionalism, compared to some of the worst rated (though there are CERTAINLY MUAs in the Worst Rated who were providing much of this too - the lovely Trans lady who was rated down solely for being trans, for example, was quite nice and professional and skilled).
You look beautiful! I was worried about the foundation color but by the end of the video it looked good. Love the mua! She is fabulous, telling you everything she is doing, asking what you like and if you need anything! Beautiful work! That is the nicest salon I've seen in your videos. Love the look!
Judy, I have a makeover video suggestion for you!! You should read up on David Kibbes fashion system, then find your kibbe type and get an outfit/hairstyle/makeup look that compliments it. Kibbe is a very cool fashion system!
I personally don't like it when the makeup artist talks to me a lot but she was actually making sure she was doing good and stuff so that was just a pleasant surprise
She did such a great Job and her professionalism? Even GREATER very kind and polite explained every thing she was going to do and why and also asked you if you were ok or needed a drink that’s amazing!! Love you Judy D💕💕

I mean in a good way, treating you like a celebrity, the guy who wants in the shot and asking for your instagram, another guy taking your pictures and the nice lady asking if you're tired and need a rest, and offering you a cup of water, overall being really nice and sweet, I like it and how you, a customer should be treated.
Just by looking and the MUAs own makeup we could already guess it will be a good one ;) To be fully honest - the upper line on your right eyelid is messed up. But it may be, that it just happened by itself and it's not MUAs fault. I would still not be able to do half of what she did, I still sometimes am unable to draw two similarly-looking half lines on my eyes, so.. yup. However.. I LOVE how nice and attentive she was and that she explained to you exactly what and why she is doing. That's so professional and just polite. Awesome!
