Wow he makes eye contact and everything.. that clip of him swimming right to left and Elvis was right at his legs is adorable. Him chasing the fish away is amazing.. ive never seen anything like this. Sharks dolphins whales and seals are all over people but such a little confident fish. ❤ I dont know their life span but i hope Elvis lives a long life. Rex would be so sad to dive and not see him..
He is probably seen as a traitor or smth, i mean imagine that some other species took over earth and one of your budies just befriends one and scares you away whenever u want to come close

That’s like saying i taught a fly a language cuz when i tried to smack it with a fly swat to kill it, it flew away. i taught it the sound of a fly swat word = dangerous. now how do i teach him words like like, is, or, the, dog shit etc.

Four summers we had him and some idiots killed him with a rock. Part of the tale I prefer to forget as me and my younger brother found him smashed and pulverized. He had a very specific pattern to his feathers. I remember that bird more fondly than some humans I’ve lost lol.
I have befriended a large mouth bass at my camp ground with a deformed mouth and every time I go fishing there and I make a noise and he loves to eat my Hot Dog so I reel him in and he doesn’t give me a hard time. I’ve Caught this fish 20+ times in the last 6months!

I had a pet fish when I was a kid named Elvis! Now I'm 28 years old, and the Great Aunt I took care of for the better part of 3 years handed me down her entire Elvis collection of stuff. Life is wild.
Or imagine the man not returning? I dont want to think of any of those possibilities, even though I realize its part of life. I just want to enjoy this amazing, unexpected friendship.

99.99% of them don't, most of them rely on their primary instincts. they don't have free will like we do, they can't think for themselves and only know 3 things. Eat, sleep, wake up.

I had an aquarium once and had a couple cichlids. One of them would actually listen to watch I told it to eat. My niece caught a bluegill and wanted to put it in so I let her and after a couple months I woke up to my fish staring at me with a look saying it was hungry so I told it it it was then eat the bluegill. It then turn and snapped at the bluegill like it was gonna try to eat it so I had to get up and feed it lol
I know it's not the same thing, but I have a tiny little Betta I was given when she was a baby. I talk to her a lot and she sits in front of me at the glass like she's listening. She rushes to greet me when I walk up to her tank, and we like to play often. When I feed her she doesn't like for me to just drop the food and leave. She sits there and will only eat if I drop one pellet at a time and wait for her to finish the previous one before dropping another. I never thought a fish would be one of my more wholesome pets. I recently got her a bigger tank with a house she can swim through. She's certainly more thankful than my cats. 😂 I often catch her swimming through the windows and the fake tree stump on top. Fish are so funny.
