I like celebrating my birthday on my own Ive been doing it since 12 cause the Indy 500 got canceled the week before and moved to my birthday and everyone went to that instead of celebrating mine so I just do stuff for me and do things like make my own cake im a artist so its fun.
I see it happening like this: Aliens have a Grinch moment right as their about to shoot Curiosity, hear it singing happy bday, alone. All of a sudden their hearts start swelling for some reason, tears rolling down, only to realize their tears are acidic to them and their hearts explode at the slightest increase in size due to their limited chest space.... Pixar...make it happen! 😢
It’s glorious. The first time that song is played on the Martian surface. With any luck, there will be generations, singing that song on the surface of Mars and beyond.
I went to comments to comment this exact thing. The composter of happy birthday song could of never imagined that it would be the first song ever played on mars and i hope, the first of many to come. Hopefully sung in person tho :p

the Curiosity rover is like a stray animal. no one to be friends with, no food, just exploring with *curiosity* ,looking and trying to find anything good. she’s a good girl, happy birthday buddy.
I mean it doesnt even have a propper AI how you may think, its not even capable of making phrases so imagine the need of friends like it even knew what even it is

Not just Curiosity, but Spirit, Opportunity, and Perseverance too. When humans get to Mars they all should be sent home to receive the honor that, although they cannot understand, are all more than worthy of for the trails they blazed for our continued exploration

Curiosity is the best mars rover that NASA ever made it resembles it is very curious and the sad part she is all alone on her birthday. We love you and we will find you when humans go to mars and rebuild you. RIP❤❤❤❤
This almost made me cry. It's unbelievable how a robot makes us cry 😭😭😭. And guys, everything is alive. But we can't understand that (this is my opinion).
i can relate. i do my birthdays all alone every year. but this little robot is on important mission ,we are all proud of her. thank you for all that you do.
When we finally go to mars, curiosity, perseverance, opportunity, spirit, and sojourner if possible, and either bring them back home or bring them back to whatever settlement we have, to not leave them out in the cold forever
