Ive been going like "This would be my bedroom! No THIS would be my bedroom!! Wait no this one! WHAT no that would definetely be my bedroom!! Oh wow no i need that to be my bedroom!!!" for the past 14 minutes. Now im gonna go cry in poor
Yup! I told myself that the 4th floor would be all mine, then the 5th floor would be a glam room where I’d have a huge makeup/skincare room. Then I’d let my mom in the garden apartment 😌
@@narcisoanasui246 brownstones are quality homes. They were built to maximize space for growing urban populations. Big families would and still live in brownstones. Unfortunately they are increasingly being turned into investment schemes and not homes.
I'm a Townhome junkie. I have a theory that in my last life I owned one and was very happy there. 30 years ago when all my friends were buying Mcmansions in New Jersey I stayed in the New York area and bought a Town Home. Still in that townhome (which I just did a lot of work to) and still love the style of my house. Don't see myself ever wanting to leave. If I do I can't come back because I could never afford one in this area today. I bought at the market low which was pure luck, but boy did that work out well.
Gorgeous I love how the builders used every inch of space and made it functional. My grandma had a brownstone back in the day. It’s worth millions now as well. The staircase reminded me of the Guggenheim Museum. The elevator was a nice touch and needed in this space. Beautiful renovation!
I'm blown away. This has to be my favorite of all the townhouses I've cruised. I'm especially impressed with those huge walls of windows. You could have all kinds of relatives living in this townhouse and only run into each other in the elevator. 😁
This is the best of NYC living. A stunning Brownstone with all of the modern luxuries. Absolutely the most beautiful one I've ever seen... that staircase is a MASTERPIECE. ❤️
@@MuvaLaNegra … I live in Hong Kong. The price of property here is much more expensive than NY. This price will get you only a 1500sqft apartment in a reasonably nice area in the HK Island. This townhouse fits for billionaires in HK.
If this were in downtown vancouver, north vancouver, west vancouver, vancouver, it would be so much more expensive. Im honestly surprised this is in Manhatten and under 5 mil.
@@antonbriggs5680 yep, you’re right. The chevron pattern comes to a central point at the top of each zigzag, whereas herringbone is a staggered pattern.
I work in NYC but reside in Jersey. I always walked on the streets of these types of town homes and always wondered what the inside looked like. Now I know. Wow, I’m truly blown away how gorgeous this home really is. I’ve seen friends that live in the Penthouses but nothing like this I’ve seen beats that. The staircase is stunning 🤩
grew up in a Baltimore Brownstown they will forever be my most favorite design. Communities across the nation should invest and rebuild in Brownstown fashion
You know looking at this home I can't believe the price! I was involved in a townhome project on Park Avenue and 91st Street not too far away and the listing was 9.6 million so the value here is really incredible
If you see my earlier comment, I bet the 91st and Park place is the same one I used to visit. I thought I understood the word breathtaking until I saw that house. When I didn't breathe for 45 seconds, I realized that's what it means. LOL.
That’s such a dream house. I love such houses so much. I don’t think I ever could get one. I love how each floor feels like personal little world with a great view. Imagine living in such house and having romantic nights with someone u love on that rooftop. OMG this perfect 😭😭😭😭
I'll be thankful for just one level!!! This place looks awesome. Congrats to the lucky family who's able to provide a safe haven for their family like this. Hard work & dedication is key! One day I'll get there. 🤞🏽
It is my dream home and my ambition to move with my family to live in America, the house is very suitable, the price is high for me, and my best wishes ♥ everyone has a beautiful home like this.
Wow this is a gorgeous house!!! It's 2 houses really!! Cause the bottom half is a whole 1 bedroom home you can rent out! And 5 mill is a good price for such a huge house in NY cause i have seen penthouses in new york smaller than this home costing 30 mil !
If I had money this is the one I;d choose. You can feel the history and the lives of the past even with the modern decor. My nana lived in a place in Brooklyn and the thing I remember is that they ( grandpa and Nana lived on one floor}. The Lobby was ART DECO. I new at that time ,1959, that already lived in an historic place. You did well to make this place welcoming.
Personally, I would want it all to myself!! Whilst young. Then over the age of 70 I'd start renting certain levels out for a very low price to the 'help' for very cheap (my personal health care giver, housekeeper, holistic chef) this townhouse would be my literal sanctuary, I'd create an atmosphere(garden that grows life preservering herbs all types of energy saving, low carbon emitting, non toxic methods of living ) that would assist in helping the earth and helping me to live for as long & as healthy as possible without leaving a carbon footprint I would rarely leave the block😄🙃
I've always loved the look of those terrace houses, it's so huge I think it's worth that amount of money, if that place was in Sydney Australia I bet it would cost a lot more. Always been a dream of mine to live in a terrace home just the age/character. Just imagine how magiic it will look when the furnishings come in, I actually thought there might have been a pool on top. I'd still love that style if there were only a few levels. Lucky people who buy that gem.
So very niiice; I just love those windows with the black frames taking up one whole side of the room; however, truth be told, it's beauty all throughout the townhome is 😘 along with the those balconies and or of called porch decks to stand out and sit out on to enjoy the nice fresh air and or to enjoy the beautiful outside scenery outside.
Some people are really lucky. You live in a place like this and when you leave your home the whole world is at your fingertips no matter which direction you walk in.
I'm a Los Angeles, California Girl. But I love Harlem for this reason right here. I wish 🤞 I could afford one of these beautiful Brown Stone's 😍. I would never leave it. I would just pass it down to family 👪 💯.
I love this. One thing I love is all the storage. I'm a big fan of closets, etc. And two ovens in the kitchen. Love it. Cooking Thanksgiving dinner with one oven is challenging. Lol. I live in a tiny apartment so space is a minimum. If I ever go house hunting, these will be things I look for. And the elevator. Awesome.
Love everything about this apartment. I would put in a jetted tub in the master bathroom tho. And a hot tub for the roof top. And a bbq grill on the ground floor and some how put in another washer and dryer in this one. But this is a beautiful apartment i have to say.
