ESPN pays a punter tens of millions of dollars to stand around all day and not say a single intelligent word, meanwhile I'm learning so much about special teams for free with Isaac's content.
It seems like what they're shooting for these days is mostly yelling about sports, and dumb manufactured "hot takes" that appeal to kids. Espn is barely a shadow of what they used to be.
Got to watch it live on my phone. I was trying to find an unimpeded or unblocked Patriot, and by the time I thought I found one, Parker Washington was running past him. I did not catch Muma causing him to be delayed due to all the graphics up, but thanks for pointing it out!
Sometimes I watch “all 22” on rhe NFL app which gives you a camera angle that shows 22 players for pretty much every play. It also shows pre snap footage. IMO it’s the absolute best footage to look at for play analysis more often than not. Sometimes you aren’t going to see more detailed nuances because it’s zoomed out, but for the most part you are getting a full view of everything going on in the play. If you had used the all 22 view for this play in particular you would not miss him blocking 2 guys.
I was at there the stadium, my seat was at the endzone where Parker Washington caught the ball. It was crazy to see the play from behind, the amount of space he had to run in this play. We just knew it was going to be a long return as soon as he caught the ball. It was an amazing experience, this play and the game overall!
Me and my brother were watching the game after church and as soon as we saw the return i said to him "Im bouta start calling this man Peter Parker" lol
Awesome video, as always. Isaac, we need a video on Daniel Whelan, both his punting and his holding! Whelan balls out every week and won the Game Ball today.
Baringer has shown a massive leg all year but he keeps outkicking the coverage. Not sure if that's on him or on the gunners, but a regular problem finally bit the Pats in the rear.
I think the point of this video is that while he did outkick the coverage a bit, it was genuinely just an excellent play by the Jags special teams. It's not like he sent it 70 yards on a rope.
Why are these London games starting at like 3.30pm London time / 9.30AM US time? Wouldn't they do better to start at like 6-7PM London time so they are on around 1PM US time?
Isaac you need to make a video on the disaster that was the field goal kicking for Arizona State this weekend. The coach said they’d hold open tryouts at kicker💀
But let’s be real on the last one - put all that aside the root cause of that return is a terrible punt. It’s the classic out kicked the coverage with the poor hang time as you mentioned. Felt a bit “I’m going to defend the punter no matter what because I love punters” Baringer has been like that his whole time in NE, He’ll hit 4 good punts but that 5th punt will be a disaster and it tends to happen when they need him to come through the most
