I believe the secret to being adaptable is confidence. If you are confident your body will autonomously adapt.

Yup no point in practicing a bag you can’t utilize when needed in particular moments, nothing happens exactly how you practice, so learning to adapt means you always have a counter or go to no matter what.

I seen Kyrie work out before a game in a video and I can say Kyrie does work on the shot fake relax then take the shot. You are right through there a lot of things you just can’t rep out. But knowing how to counter and knowing the game is important.

could you please do more videos on Flow states. Also, should you be in a flow state while training or is deliberate practice better?

Hey coach i practice with a lot of cones and not a live D. In game i find it difficult to adapt from having driving lanes to having contact from other players and i get into my head about which move to use. Help. I know i have to play more and practice against live d more but any other advice?

Hey Coach, I was wondering if you could do a video on Tyler Herro's pace. For some more quick/athletic hoopers and guards, this would be a great video for some learning how use that speed effectively. Thanks for all the information you have already put out with the previous pace videos you have made as well!

You are general speaking right but you sawing players with great athletic foundation! What about players with little or none athletic foundation? Since most players kids that come to as lack basic strength since they spent most of the time in front of video games or reading for school! 🏀 Thanks!!!

Can we get a video on pocket dribbles. I feel that is something luka uses to his advantage very well he is able to palm the ball(sometimes he carries but meh who doesnt) for so long which buys him enough time to read the defense. Good video as always.

What do you mean the defense is always wrong? I didn't get that from anything he said.

@@sjeasley9594 being able to adapt and do funky finishes or unorthodox pivots. If they take away something being able to be creative enough and have enough skill to work out of it. Adaptiveness is kind of the idea I was getting at where you get put in a situation because the defense makes a good decision and you can still find counters/solutions to score. I hope that makes more sense that the “defense is always wrong” you can usually counter everything but have to have high adaptability.

@@sjeasley9594that if you play well on offense the defense is always going to have to give something up(hence them being “wrong”). This can be in a 1v1 giving away the drive or the shot or on help defense when a defender rotates in and a shot will be open. The easiest example would be with the tag defender in a pick and roll(where the big steps up like in a hedge), if the tag defender tags the roller it’ll be a wide open shot for the shake and if he doesn’t it’ll be a wide open layup/dunk

There's always a way to beat/counter the defense. There's also always a way to stop/slow down the offense.
